Suspect in fatal Oakdale shooting dies in Stanislaus County Jail

The man accused of shooting two people to death outside an Oakdale market in November died today while in custody in the Stanislaus County Jail, authorities said.

My heart goes out to his wife and children and family. Just as it went out to the families of the victims. There's victims in every situation and no matter what opinion you have they should be considered before any foul comments are made.

You must be someone who couldn't or wouldn't get into military service, guard, reserves or active duty. Deployment does have an effect on people and I am in no way defending or accusing, I was not there or know if any of the victims were gang affiliated. But you don't have to be an adult to pull a trigger or be in a gang. It is terrible for the victims and families. Oh and could you learn how to spell?

i understand it can change someone thats been to war, but he hasnt even went active....... he hasnt seen or been through anything...

Anoyonmous you have no idea what you are talking about. He was deployed which means active. So before you speak get your facts. You don't know what he had seen and you don't know what he been through. The family is hurting right now this is a great loss regardless on how anyone else feels. A son, a brother, a father, and husband is gone and there is a huge hole in the hearts of the people that loved and cared about him. Regardless of what happened his past it doesn't matter a life was lost and that is tragic. So if you think you know what anyone is going through or what anyone has gone through you can speak but first I would suggest shutting your trap and thinking before you open it.

How do you know he wasn't in the war? Are you him or his family? Were you with him? I understand that two other lives were lost but it was more then people talking crap to one another. Like I said you really need to shut your trap because you don't know what you are talking about. I am sorry that 3 lives were lost in all of this but that doesn't mean you should slander any of them including Ryan. There was so much more to what happened that night then what the Media says and honestly I think that's all you are basing your assumptions on. The media has been know to lie so why would you trust what they say. They are paid to say what they say and honestly when someone is paid what comes out of their mouths isn't anything any of us should take to heart. I also was born and raised in Oakdale, and only heard about this today via a post by my daughter on Facebook. I tried to look up online what happened, but only found a short story that doesnt say much. My heart goes out to ALL of the families and my prayers are with them.
