Dan was not a stranger to the Little River and was an avid fisherman. GMP's flashing yellow lights, signs and alarm are useless beyond a short distance from the dam. Here's a unique idea - go back to the old method of sending a GMP employee or Vermont F&P employee down the road (that follows the river) in a vehicle a half hour before the water release. He or she used to stop and tell us to get out of the water.
