Funny the article does not mention that Vermont residents don't even need a concealed carry permit to exercise their constitutional rights. And most of the murders are committed with knives and blunt instruments! This shreds the anti-gun theory that more guns equal more crime as Mayor Bloomburg and other liberal socialist sheep like to prescribe to. Good job Vermont, in allowing citizens to exercise personal responsibility and freedom in choosing how they make the state a safer place.

The author of this piece fails to mention the 2nd Amendment as a contributing factor in the extremely low homicide rate of Vermont. More liberal news media ignoring an essential truth, again.

Well put gentlemen. This is great. Not only Vermont but nation wide especially since 32 states now have a concealed carry law.Rape & assault along with car jacking cases are down, Even the non carriers benefit as no one knows who is packing.Yet England & Europe along with Australian crimes are up even with there guns confiscated You would think the Media would publish more on this instead of anti gun crap.Blumberg should think what each Jew would have given for the right to bear arms as they were marched to the gas chamber. Mr.Blumberg Look at the Holocaust faces in history an think if it were you.You would probably wont to negotiate/ Or maybe believe like old Amademajad it didn't happen.America stand up an demand the media become more fair an balanced. I think ill send Mr.Blumberg this. I hate to call the weasel Mr.

Mr Wrinn some how for got to mention the 12 to 15 minute national delay time between the call an the cops arrival on the scene, its the armed citizens that is doing the most on prevention.Example used to be a couple carjackings a wk, not now.Boy where is all the anti gunners when the proof comes out.

Point of fact. 48 states have some form of concealed carry available to their citizens. Alaska and Vermont are the only two where a license is not needed to legally carry concealed by a law abiding citizen. The two states that have no provision for legal concealed carry are Illinois and Wisconsin.

what has happened is the courts have gotten to easy on the criminals and there back on the street in no time doing it over again and the ones who see this dont care cause they know that they wont get much punishment either. is like a friend of mine who was in a abusive relationship and she broke up with him and he stalked her and came back and threatened her ect, so she went to court got a restraining order and he had a time to get his stuff out with police , well the time went by and he still harrassed her she called the cops the court ect and they did nothing, then he went to get a extension on getting his stuff out and he is still messing with her and the court says she cant get rid of his stuff and it just prolongs it, basically the judges first decision ment nothing, she is afraid for her life and i wouldnt blame her if she wacked him off now, and it would be nobodys fault but the law, she did everything that your supposed to do and the law did nothing. just like it always does, wich ends up costing us tax payers so much money
if they stuck behind there decisions and were harder on these people it would be a closed deal and not going back to court 14 times.
