He isn;t supporting you. He is playing a head game. In another thread he belittled people who don't have college degrees and deserve to be fired becasue they all want something for nothing. He is playing you for a fool. Be warned.

Golf? lmmfao! Aint it funny how so many people get into golf because they think it makes them look like a hotshot? Inside those people hate the sport of golf. Its so stupid that golf has grown to signify affluency. When are people going to play golf because they truly like it and not because its a status thing?

Where did the other posts go?
Why does it say 46 posts and there are actually 63?
I thought this was a forum which means freedom of speech and opinion?
Guess I was wrong!

Come on, who's a$$ are you trying to impress (R u serious)....this is only the tip of the iceberg to say the least. Where's the rest of the story, Sheridan has and did not have any intentions to offer other positions within the company. After all look around how many other people have been "let go" from other departments lately, no raises for any of the employees this year, selling back it's European companies. There's got to be some other problems going on that are not being told to the employees who are still there.
Sounds a little reminiscent of Boyd's Collection several years ago !!!!

First, let me state that I DO NOT work the TSP (though I used to on the binder as a helper). I want to defend those of us who have worked retail jobs, manual labor jobs, any shift, etc. and have gone back to school to earn their degree so they can work in an office setting to not have to work so hard. I am a female that worked hard on every shift to do what I needed to do to make it, but I am in the process of earning my degree to make life better for me and my family. So, anyone complaining about "office people" need to understand that it takes money, education, and dedication to get some positions. Everyone is different and there are different jobs for them. One is not any better than the other.

I am a TSP office worker and when I was told about checking this web page out, I just could not believe what I was reading. We feel bad for the people who are losing there jobs, but it happens, no matter where you work. I lost my job over 10 years ago due to downsizing. I found out on my way out the door on a Friday, no 3 months to adjust, but you go on. As for people from the plant who are bashing the office personel on this forum, I am sad for you. Until you walk in our shoes and see what we go through in a day, you have no idea of the stress or what we have to produce in a day. We are not a bunch of dumb a$$ justing sitting at a desk punching a keyboard. If you didn't have the office workers, you wouldn't have work in the plant. Everyone has a purpose, if we didn't have the plant operators we wouldn't have a position in the office. I thought we were a team. We have to work together to make a well oiled machine run. I would never bash the people who hold positions in our plant, as they perform a completely different type of work, that I wouldn't have a clue on how to do, as well as some of them wouldn't have a clue to do our jobs. I have never snubbed a plant worker and talk to as many as I can when we get a chance to see each other as we go through our day. Maybe it would be better to get to know someone, before you start passing judgement. It hurts they we didn't get a raise at this time, put we do have a job, not like a lot of other business that are closing their doors. Instead of complaing about each other, count your blessings and what you have, not what you think you should have. Sometimes the things you want are not always the best.

But I still bet that every once in awhile the thoughts pops into your head that-'Geeze some of those plant workers need to take a bath once in awhile'. Since plant workers are so dirty and break their nails a lot. God forbid if you office workers crack a nail or get a speck of ink or dirt on you or the wind messes your hair up.

DiggersGirl hit the nail on the head! Everyone has a purpose on their job....everyone works together for the betterment of the company.
With that said, TSP workers that are being laid-off/losing your jobs: I wish you luck in finding another job. Jobs are very hard to find at this time. Those of you that are posting comments and reading the comments: Be thankful you have a job and do your best.....whether you are an office worker, hard laborer or whatever.
I moved from the Hanover area, where I held a full-time job and a part-time job, to MB,SC, where I went without a job for four months....due to no jobs available. I am currently working a part-time job and am very thankful to have. There are no full-time jobs available in this area. The economy is very bad right now and jobs are very hard to find.
So.......be thankful for the blessings you have, because you never know when you're the next one without a job!

Well, why in the heck did you leave to a place without a job? So you could think you are living the life in a beach town? Other than that I like what you said.

I know where all the missing posts went. Shortly after The Sheridan Press hierarchy blocked access to The Evening Sun website from all of it's computers it bullied The Evening Sun into removing any and all posts which it deemed damning to the company. Then they bought pizza for all the production employees and told them how thankful they are for them....What a crock

And beware, they are on a mission to determine who is writing the posts, be it at home or not, and plan to rid themselves of these rabble rousers. How dare you imply that Mr. Schumaker does nothing but look at golf supplies and porn on the internet all and come out once in a while to harrass hard working employees. Whether it's true or not, you have no right to air The Sheridan Press's dirty laundry
