Now we have spent "thousands" to protect his rightsNO his wrongs and next time run him by a preschool class and they can tell you the difference between insane and just looking for attention. After reading his father's remarks in the media the problem is at home when his father is off work. AND to boot he is a school administration teaching our children the life of Dreamboat Annie.

It is too bad they were watching this poor man closer! Or had him in a secure facility until he learned to live with his disease and take the right kind of meds.

Not to alarm people, just to inform, VT DOC has a population of incarcerated just like this man. People like this (including females), with severe mental health issues and criminal records, are increasing in population every day across the country. Trying to cure people like this is difficult. What is more important is to identify them before someone gets hurt.

He has had many run ins with the law and threaten innocenct peoples lives...we just have no way to humanely control him so he is safe to himself and the people who are around him...it must be terrible for the people who know him.

We should be charged...the USA and all of us.... with “crimes against humanity” for allowing mentally ill people to fail like that.

Life in Shadows for Mentally Ill in China, With Violent Flares
By SHARON LaFRANIERE
XIZHEN, China — After five months in a rundown ward at the Hepu County Psychiatric Hospital, Yang Jiaqin no longer suffers terrifying hallucinations. Still, his wife dares not mention children, not even their own, for fear of unleashing the demons that possessed him one day last spring.
On a warm, sunny afternoon in April, Mr. Yang burst from his home in this rural village near the Vietnamese border, carrying a kitchen cleaver. He encountered three youngsters headed home from school on the dirt path outside. He hacked two primary schoolers, badly wounding both, and slit a second grader’s throat, leaving him dying on the ground. Then he moved on. By the time police officers caught up and subdued him, he had slashed two more people to death.
The victims’ families have focused their rage on the police. Three days earlier, Mr. Yang had struck a neighbor in the head with an ax, but was not detained...

I mean, the mentally ill hacking and slashing people isn’t so bad. Wish we were back in the poverty ridden hatchet and knife stone age.

Our mentally ill gain the most technical advanced semiautomatic pistols, sometime two guns, brings cartons of bullet in backpacks…he then takes out the innocents out by the dozens.

I rather face a Chinese hatchet!

Right national development take on predictable patterns, is China in our pre mental illness institutionalization period, are they just entering their institutionalization period.

That is the interesting thing about seeing China…they are a exact mirror of us in our earlier times.

Modern development just has to go by some fundamental similar keystones of development?

We can see and understand our past by observing china…they can see their potential future by observing us.

Right, we fundamental got the same structure in our noggins…

You see the chaos and inhumanity we were running away from when we treated mental illness in a isolated manner…that is what we were running away from when we invented mental illness institutionalization and its centralization.

See, it wasn’t isolating the mentally ill in institutionalizations that was our sin.

Check out how the Chinese are hiding the mentally in rural county isolation…like Brattleboro and the NH Laconia in our the old days.

I mean, why do we marginalize and dehumanize the mentally ill…probably it is because we fear being place in such a powerless position, as not being able to take care of ourselves. If they are inhuman, it is impossible for us to be like them.

It is our fear that punishes them.
