I'm not a fan of Sarah Palin but I do have to side with her on this one. This author is despicable. Moving next store is creepy and invasive. I wouldn't buy his trashy book.

There is no reason to hate Sarah Palin or her family. She is fighting to restore common sense in govt. I will never understand the jealous hatred for this woman. Were are the women when a fellow woman is being blasted and her rights to express her views. Just because she is a conservitive weak woman abandon their principles!? I think so...just like weak coward woman who don't take a stand with muslims killing woman and enslaving them. Pathetic liberal progressive dumbocrook women don't stand for anything unless their is a jackass, homo, illegal, black then they crawl out from their rock. Slither back underground from were you came corrupt liberal women....weak and of no use to anyone but your self serving interest which roits your evil lying soul!

I hope we can all agree the author's initiative is a good thing, worthy of even the begrudging respect of the former Governor. It's a heartwarming example of old fashioned American initiative.

The author has moved to a God-forsaken wasteland like Wasilla to write a book that doubtless will generate interest in the marketplace. In the midst of a tough economy Joe McGinniss has rented the house next door to the subject of his work. What a bold move by an American entrepreneur.

Mr McGinniss has to produce a book people want to buy, so he has a lot of work ahead. If he does a very good job, he could also make money selling the screen rights for a television program or a feature film. But that all lies ahead; thus far he's made us all proud of the American Dream.

Who can criticize the way he has seized the opportunity for fame and fortune? Who would deny the man his moment to pull himself up by his bootstraps? Get a life??? Respectfully Ms Palin, Joe McGinniss is living his life to the utmost. God bless the United States of America.

A 'bold move' would be for you to find Dr. Kevorkian and have him put you down.

You want to see a waste land. Spend a day in war torn Detroit.

As far as the creep next door to the Palins is concerned.

He should get a life.

Why does one have to live next door to write a book unless maybe it's something to do with her time line?

Then I would say that is stalking.

"She is fighting to restore common sense in govt."

LMAO OMG . She has no common sense . "Call the Dutch to stop the BP oil leak" is the best you get from here.

She has talking points and she knows how to change the tone of her voice to fool some and that is all you get from here.

At best she repeats what she hears like a parrot but never any real ideas. All she ever does is criticize with no solutions because she has never had one. She is simply not capable.

We have different political ideologies but Sarah Palin who quit on her state for money and when in a real non soft ball staged "interview" you see how clueless she is. Has to be the last Rep I would think would wind up as a leader.

It is embarrassing for the country but it does show what the Rep party has become which is a party with no desire , no interest in truly solving problems thus she represents you well.

Disclaimer - I apologoze to parrots by comparing them to Sarah Palin as some parrots have the IQ of a 5 year old and can solve certain problems .
Parrots are also loyal to the humans in their household while Palin is only loyal to money not those who blindly follow her.

Thanks, Beth. I just love the smell of fear-driven hate, served up on a mediocre intellect.

Beth, you wrote an exceptionally fine comment.

I had not even thought about how embarrassing it would be for the U.S. to have Palin as president. Yowee! I had only thought of how dangerous it would be to have such a numbskull with authority over nuclear weapons.

I think you might be a little hard on Republicans. They are not all like Palin and her followers.

Of course you don't understand. There has been no "jealous hatred for this woman" exhibited here.

And what "she is fighting" for is to make a lot of money and to be crowned president because she is pretty and charming and has a good sense of humor.

Palin knows nothing at all about either government OR common sense. She thinks a Department of Law is one of the branches of our federal government. She thinks the Vice President is the boss of the Senate.

What has been expressed here is concern about her lack of qualifications to be president, which seems to be her goal.

I've seen no comment that showed either jealousy or hatred. Some have shown contempt. Some have shown exasperation. Some have shown concern. Some have shown incredulity.

Most have shown amusement or frustration or both. Some people have not wished her well. Why should they? Palin tells lies and is quite possibly the world champion of hypocrites.

Not wishing to see an incompetent person as president is a long, long way from "jealousy" or "hatred."
