Where were you when George Bush and the Republicans added 10 trillion to the debt by giving tax cuts to the rich, a Medicare prescription part D giveaway to the pharmaceutical companies, unpaid wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, bridges to nowhere. Give me a break. Obama inherited a financial nightmare from your Republicans. Problem is, most Republican voters are too stupid to know any better so they go right on voting for the same people.
You must not get the Republican way of thinking. If Bush is President then everything is the fault of the Democratic legislature. But when we have a Republican Legislature, then the fault is with the President(Obama). Clear thinking on their part.

He has admitted to doing the leaks and should have been shot then and there. The people who were not paying attention when he got access to the records should be in jail.
I'm going to assume you don't know much about this case because your final sentence that I've posted is full of holes and really, an affront to the Constitution. To wit:

1. He hasn't confessed to the Government at this point that he leaked anything. He confessed to a journalist at Wired Magazine who turned on his source and informed the Government. A journalist who, oh by the way, is a CONVICTED felon. That's a whole different discussion though. When does a journalist have to stop protecting his or her source and when does one go from a Whistle Blower to a Criminal?

That being said, he has not directly confessed to the crime as far as we know. The Justice Department has not indicated that a formal confession has taken place. Under your rule, the Government should have just shot him the moment he said anything huh. That sounds an awful lot like China to me. I take it that you are looking for the repeal of the Sixth Amendment?

2. People not paying attention should be in jail. Again, sounds pretty authoritarian to me. Because somebody who has clearance to certain records steals them without your knowledge and leaks them without your knowledge, you should go to jail. You do know that he had clearance to these records right?

Tell me, what crime would you charge them with? Or would you just lock them up and never charge them with a crime? You'd have to prove willful ignorance or gross negligence. Good luck considering nobody had any clue it was him until the Wired journalist came forward.

I'm glad you post here and aren't actually involved in our Government. Everyone in your world is guilty until proven innocent and you can be executed before you are allowed a trial. But you shouldn't feel bad. Republicans have been frauds on the Constitutional front as much as Democrats. Each of them are activists in their own way.

No, Just move to Alaska where the redistribute the wealth of the oil companies to individuals the old fashioned way: they send them checks.

Of course while Sister Sarah and her fellow comrades enjoy the state dole, our fuel bills keep climbing.

This just in: President Barry has not had a republican legislature. The dems have had a majority in the house and senate since he was inaugurated.

Let's see now, America has been involved in Monroe's war, Lincoln's war, Mckinley's war, Wilson's war, FDR's war, Truman's war, LBJ's war, Bush1's war, Clinton's war, Bush2's war. Jog my memory, didn't Reagan have a war? Have I missed anyone's war? America wasn't involved in Britain's Falkland war, was she? I don't know who's war the fighting against the western tribes was. It was stretched over a period of time. Could we say that was Andrew Jackson't war? He definitely hated the Native Americans and sent the Cherokee west. Oh, I remember. That war is Thomas Jefferson's because his Lewis & Clark expedition got into a row and some skirmishes with the Crows of Montana, I believe. We're getting this who's war is it down pat. See there, all you wonderful peace loving muzzies. You can bomb a place like the TT's and other places and then when the Americans go on the attack, it's Bush2's war. Fantastic, this American way of life, isn't it muzzies? So actually, the camel's ass who brought down the airplane on Lockerbie is not the culprit nor Qadhafi but it is the fault of the British. Does Tony Blair get any credit for starting the war in Iraq or is it strictly Bush2's war? I mean, the muzzies didn't do anything. allah knows Saddam Hussein never financed any terrorism against the USA or any other country. Saddam was a victim of the evil George W. and the American great satan, right all you American patriots out there telling the truth about the American's brutal attack on the muzzies, the innocent peace loving muzzie followers of the rapist mohammed who raped the 9 year Aisha. Yes, Sarah Palin, you should definitely cry over your love for the Constitution of the United States and for all the dastardly deeds George W. has done against the peaceful, godfearing muzzies. I mean, the muzzies fear their loving god allah, the loving god who loves to kill and commands his followers to kill.
