Reno Transit Board OK's Light Rail Planning

The Regional Transportation Commission has voted to update studies and seek federal funding for a street car and light rail project.

Sounds good, but it does not help with the areas of our city and community that do not have mass transportation access. The closest place i can catch the bus is 3 miles away in the south end of town.

I hope it works but who is it serving? What needs to be moved to make room for the tracks and how many nice old buildings will be torn down to make way for the project.
