Washingtonville mayor vows to stay in office

Tempers flared at Tuesday's Washingtonville Village Board meeting. Here, Toni Greeo shows her displeasure at some of Mayor Hudson's comments.

How disgusting! This mayor absolutely needs to go. Aside from Polman's reported statements from the recording (which I do not condone), for the mayor to go to the deliberate extent that he did to "acquire" the recordings only shows that this man has absolutely no compulsion in acting outside the law. I believe there are laws in NY and Federal that governs recordings of unsuspecting people without disclosure. With. I ethics panel to review these actions, the Village has essentially condoned this practice. And as long as the residents do not speak out, it becomes "acceptable" behavior.

What is worse is that this mayor attempted to use a racially and politically charged issue of another municipality to further his own personal agenda. Playing the race card in this manner only shows ho's own personal disregard for race relations and within his own village.

Polman was wrong to make the statements she did, however, the mayor is more guilty of using race to enfleurage race to further a smokescreen to hide his personal actions which may be in violation of law.

Words that best describe the mayor at this point and in light of all recent developments: unethical, racist, megalomaniac, political despot, and I'm sure a few more will come to mind later.

mayor may blowing but don't think it's something. Maybe someone. Like the only guy left on the board who sides with him when things are put to a vote. Scott Cumguisti or whatever his name is.

the mayor is the epitome of OxyMORON. Calls himself conservative and republican however, has deviant sexual mores that permit him to share his wife with another man. I guess it's a family value as long as divorce is not involved. And he is emasculated to the point where I'm sure his wife calls the shots in the bedroom ... or kitchen or office or car backseat. He is a shell of a man and his only domain is village hall. On a psychological level, he has transferred his aggressions over his lacking masculinity to his governance of an entire village. What a ball-less turd.

It's not just in your Village Look at Harriman the Mayor there is the Police Chief the village Clerk the Highway Super, the Water Super. Plus the Building inspector the Mayor controls the Board there. All of the department heads have to have has permission to do anything Plus turn over all reports and daily actives sheets to the Mayor for review.The Mayor has the employee's ratting each other out to the him in hopes to get promoted. So you think that Washingtonville is bad it's not always greener on the other side.
