Why don't we have any good bands from Port Barre?

why aren't there any good bands from Port Barre?

All they have is Courtableau that can't sing and that gay dude that won Louisiana Idol.

Just got a call from a friend to check this out. No I have no problem finding women, as a matter of fact, you may want to ask your mom, sister, girlfriend or spouse if they can confirm my heterosexuality... If they live in PB, I would stake money that either they or someone they know could. On that note, I left town to pursue my career in music a long time ago because there is a lack of opportunity for someone in that does what I do in St. Landry Parish. I still love it, call it home, and visit frequently.

As far as my friends in the band Courtableau go, they have been performing locally for close to 17-18 years... and yes, they pack Bada's. That is all they aspire to do as music is not their career. Robbie Taylor is responsible for getting me into the music industry.

You have insulted my friends and myself. I strongly suggest you retract your statement. If you would like the opportunity to confront me about it, I will be having a few drinks next Wednesday in Opelousas at either Chip's or Frank's. You are welcome to come and share a beer and I can tell you of the heterosexual exploits that I have had that your small town life will never allow you to experience.

I have been here from time to time and watched them bash good people such as Cheif Deon, the Bourque's, Gil Savoy, Mac Mistric, and even Sheriff Bobby Guillory.
