“It is extremely distasteful that some ill-informed Democrat staff are using the instability and violence abroad to score cheap political hits,” said Jennifer Hing, communications director for the House Appropriations Committee.

“For over a decade, the Congress has made strong and necessary investments to ensure the safety and security of our diplomatic facilities and staff overseas,” Hing said.

“These investments will continue to be a priority, and the committee will continue to make decisions that focus funding on programs that have the most benefit to the American people — both here and abroad.”

Democrats enacted $1.803 billion for embassy security, construction and maintenance for fiscal 2010, when they still controlled the Senate and House. After Republicans took control of the House and picked up six Senate seats, Congress reduced the enacted budget to $1.616 billion in fiscal 2011, and to $1.537 billion for 2012.

Republicans argue last week’s attacks are the result of a weak foreign policy under President Obama, and a top adviser to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign last week said they would not have happened under the GOP nominee’s watch.

Why wouldn't it?

The Senate versions of the State, Foreign Operations and Related Agencies appropriations bills for fiscal 2012 and 2013 proposed $396 million more than House legislation for the department’s security programs, including for local guards.

The Senate bills for 2012 and 2013 called for $245 million more for embassy security, construction and maintenance, compared to the House bills.

They're still not forthcoming with the needed funds and when the shit hits the fan again they'll whine again.

They want to spend $2 dollars on a used tire, then whine when it blows out.

Perhaps if you remove the feminism just from defense you would probably save a minimum of 100 billion dollars a year. But gosh darn it, we will prove women and men are equal in everything even if it destroys us.

Or just do some research/oversight before handing out billions of dollars to private contractors.

Do you ever wonder, where do the weapons our Pentagon is buying to supply the Afghan counterinsurgency actually come from? Well, duh, China, but, let's start over. Meet Efraim Diveroli. He has some sort of $300 million Pentagon contract to supply ammunition to the government. He also has: never had a real job, a drinking problem, a woman with a restraining order against him, a beautiful headquarters in the heart of Miami Beach, a 25-year-old VP whose only certification in anything is that he is a licensed masseur, and wiretaps of him talking about bribing the Albanian defense department by sending him whores. And all of this makes sense because Efraim Diveroli is 22 YEARS OLD.

The Pentagon contract with AEY, awarded in 2007, specifically prohibits munitions from communist China. But according to court documents, Diveroli and the others simply repackaged the Chinese ammunition — mostly 7.62mm rounds used in assault weapons like the AK-47 — so that it appeared to originate from Albania.

Between June and October 2007, court documents showed, some 90 million rounds were sent to Afghanistan in 35 shipments. In return, the Pentagon paid AEY more than $10.3 million.

Halliburton Co.'s multibillion dollar contract for work to support U.S. troops in Iraq will be put back up for bids, according to a published report.

The Wall Street Journal said Tuesday an internal Army memo indicates the move is planned within months. The company, formerly headed by Vice President Dick Cheney, has come under intense scrutiny amid allegations of overcharging and poor accounting.

The value of the contract, to feed and house U.S. troops in Iraq, is valued at up to $13 billion.

The Journal quoted a Halliburton spokeswoman as saying the move was expected and that its Kellogg Brown & Root unit may bid again for parts of the work.

A published report on the findings of Pentagon auditors said last month that Halliburton did not adequately account for more than $1.8 billion it billed the government for work in Iraq and Kuwait.

The $1.8 billion amounts to 40 percent of the $4.18 billion KBR has already billed the Pentagon for its work feeding and housing military troops.

Various government agencies are investigating several aspects of Halliburton's work in Iraq, including allegations of kickbacks by Kuwaiti subcontractors and improper charges totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.

Some of the most compelling accusations come from people like Marie DeYoung, who worked for Halliburton subsidiary KBR, reports CBS News Correspondent Sharyl Attkisson.

"There was no regard for spending limits," says DeYoung.

She recently told Congress that while troops rough it in tents, hundreds of preferred Halliburton KBR employees reside in five-star hotels like the Kempinski in Kuwait with fruit baskets and pressed laundry delivered daily.

"It costs $110 to house one KBR employee per day at the Kempinski, while it costs the Army $1.39 per day to bunk a soldier in a leased tent," DeYoung said.

"The military requested that Halliburton move into tents, but Halliburton refused."

Documents obtained by CBS News show an auditor repeatedly flagged improper fees for soldiers' laundry. At one site, taxpayers reportedly paid $100 for each 15-pound load of wash -$1 million a month in overcharges.

Everyone knows that Tea Party revolutionaries fear and hate socialism about as much as the Antichrist. Which is funny, because the Tea Party movement’s dirty little secret is that it owes its existence to the grandaddy of all Antichrists: the godless empire of the USSR.

What few realize is that the secretive oil billionaires of the Koch family, the main supporters of the right-wing groups that orchestrated the Tea Party movement, would not have the means to bankroll their favorite causes had it not been for the pile of money the family made working for the Bolsheviks in the late 1920s and early 1930s, building refineries, training Communist engineers and laying down the foundation of Soviet oil infrastructure.

Here is a better historical fact, one that the Kochs don’t like to repeat in public: the family’s initial wealth was not created by the harsh, creative forces of unfettered capitalism, but by the grace of the centrally-planned economy of the Soviet Union. This deserves repeating: The Koch family, America’s biggest pushers of the free-market Tea Party revolution, would not be the billionaires they are today were it not for the whim of one of Stalin’s comrades.

Poor "communist" teabagger.

You poor dumb ObamaZombie. Look, small brain, the basic facts are this: On 9-f*cking-11, Obama and Hillary did NOTHING to put our folks on alert. She didn't even read the dispatches from Benghazi begging for more security!
You lack common sense. Whatever Obozo and Hillary did AFTER the fact, it means nothing. Zero, zilch, nada! THEY WERE ASLEEP ON 9/11, A DAY WHICH EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 7 KNOWS IS IMPORTANT! That's especially true for Al Qaeda and their affiliates.
Our enemies read Obama & Hillary and saw them for what they are: immature, clueless and inexperienced. They took note of Odumbo's childish victory dance after the Seals killed Osama. They took note of the fact that he was also stupid enough to blab about the Seal's raid within hours after it happened, giving up the value of the intell captured during the assault.
Al Qaeda looked at Obama and realized they are dealing with a child. So they did something bold, daring and almost unheard of: they attacked us on the ONE day of the year when we should have been on full alert. This is something you attempt ONLY if you are quite certain that you will achieve complete surprise. And were they ever right!
The Seals, using info gathered by Bush, killed Osama. Then our idiot President, Obumble, bragged about it & then fell into a deep slumber. Obama helped with Al Qaeda's recovery by acting as if the war was over, because he has NO real world experience or common sense.
After Al Qaeda beat little Barrack's ass like he was a school kid losing his lunch money, he went into full-out BS mode, trying to hide this fact from the American public. Instead of concentrating on recovering from his stupid mistakes, he went into lie & cover up over-drive, using two dumb bitches as dupes: Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton. These two clueless a-holes were willing to blow Obama at the drop of a hat. Rice lied for him like a rug, the other bent over an took it up the pooper to save his sorry Presidency.
Obama is a small child who hides behind the skirts of his groupie women to avoid responsibility. Al Qaeda has been revived, earning new recruits, new money and new recognition all over the Islamic world. This is ONE person's fault: Barrack Hussein Obama.
"the basic facts are this"

Sure, what ever Limbaughtomy and Rannity tell you.

Repeating crap, over and over, doesn't make "opinion" FACT.

"See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda." -- George Bush-- Greece, N.Y., May 24, 2005

Ok, you small-brained childish moron, I will try to put it more simply so that even YOU can follow it:
First, the basics: You do realize that human reality proceeds linearly, right? That is, we must experience our timeline flows from the past, to the present then into the future. Got it?
Obama's 1st Gift to Al Qaeda: Obama bragged to the press about killing Osama, letting Al Qaeda know he'd taken the Osama's compound and the intell inside it.
Al Qaeda realized they needed to very quickly do many things: change codes, move headquarters & weapons stores, review communications, etc. This they did because, unlike Obama, they are ADULTS. Obama gave them the warning they needed within mere hours of Osama's death. That's because he's a CHILD.
Obama's 2nd Gift to Al Qaeda: Then Obama danced a victory jig and proclaimed he'd defeated Al Qaeda. This let Al Qaeda know that Obama believes his own childish PR and that we would be letting down our guard.
Obama's 3rd Gift to Al Qaeda: Obama and Hillary then ignored the desperate communications from Libya warning that something awful would happen there. That's because they are CHILDREN in an adult's job, having no experience in real-world affairs, including military, intelligence or anything else. This told Al Qaeda they were facing a sleeping giant, now led by a small immature CHILD.
THAT'S WHY AL QAEDA TOOK THE VERY GREAT RISK OF ATTACKING A MAJOR AMERICAN TARGET ON 9-F*CKING-11!
Obama's 4th Gift to Al Qaeda (after his ass-whooping by them in Benghazi): Instead of concentrating on recovering from his huge mistake, Obama went into full liar & BS cover-up mode, hoping to fool the American people until the election. THIS HE SUCCEEDED AT 100%! That's because telling lies and spreading BS is the ONLY thing he's truly good at. Plus he had the help of two worthless bitches/ObamaZombies.
Look, child, what Obama or Hillary did AFTER they we're defeated in Benghazi and revived Al Qaeda means almost nothing. If you have a car crash because you fell asleep, do you think the police just let you go because you were real concerned & helpful at the accident scene afterwards? NO, YOU F&CKING MORON, THEY DON'T. And why not? BECAUSE YOU CAUSED THE ACCIDENT DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE, THAT'S WHY!!!!!
Time proceeds from the past to the future. The main thing in the above example is you falling asleep, resulting in a horrendous crash. What you do afterwards is less important than what happened in the first place. Get it? You can't live life backwards. You can't pretend that you showed up, gave aid to the injured and displayed how much you "care", but then, oopsie-daisy, it seems a crash took place somehow. So that means it's not your fault - because you acted correctly at the crash site. THAT'S THE WAY CHILDREN THINK!
If Obama & Hillary did not crash this bus and revive Al Qaeda, pray tell, who did? THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE! Only small children, like you and them, keep denying responsibility for jobs they have voluntarily assumed.
Grow up, quit posting crap, you worthless, small-minded, ignorant ObamaZombie!
"First, the basics"

Whatever Limbaughtomy, Rannity or some other nut job teabaggers "opinion" is, still doesn't make it fact.

That always helps.
