This makes me so ashamed to admit I'm from Minnesota. Next think you know, Perez Hilton will be running for office here.

Now we, the people, have 60 representing us in the Senate. Senator Harry Reid, call the GOP bluffs. Make them filibuster. Make them GOP exhibit their obstructionism, and failure to represent us, the ordinary folks.

Godspeed to leave Washington like Dayton did when he read the terrorist report and ran home to his bunker.

Now for the fight between Coleman and Bachmann for governor.

This is gonna be good. SNL will get enough material for 5 years of shows with these two.

When Senator Scu^^bag is removed five years hence, it's going to take more than cherry scented cleanser to remove the stink he'll leave.

I'm thinking industrial strength Pine-Sol, mixed with bleach and a heavy-duty bacterial disinfectant.

So much for the Entire Minnesota State Legislative Branch for making election laws.
Even Kindergarten children cry foul when the bully changes the rules during the game.
Funny how Democrats are so good at changing Election laws - "AFTER" an election.
I'm glad the recount is over and we have a Senator and I wish him well. But this Red State/Blue State crap is destroying our constitution.

To all you Dem-haters out there...now you know how offended the left was when Bush II was elected and re-elected. Good luck and God-speed, Senator Al Franken!

This election says a lot about the mess that GW created. Our senator sold out to get the extra $$$ and now we're stuck with a 'has-been' comedian representing our state. I hope Coleman runs for governor again and loses to J. Ramstad!

Today is another sad day for Minnesota (first was when the theft was officially announced). Tomorrow will be worse when he is officially sworn in. Fellow Minnesotans, welcome to being the laughing stock of the nation!

Do you mean like the filibuster that was done when the first Hispanic was being appointed to the Supreme Court?

Here's a twist for you. I like both of them. Norm Coleman was a great Mayor of St. Paul. He had to battle his own council, took on the city workers unions, had balanced budgets with no tax increases and was a one man show in creating the great additions to downtown - the Xcel, the Wild, Riverplace, the Science Museum, Lawson Software, etc. I heard Al Frankin speak several times and listened to his radio show. He's a smart guy and a patriot. He supported the troops in Iraq with dozens of visits and fundraising for body armor. He'll make a great Senator. Norm Coleman's mistake was tying his wagon to the worst president in modern times. He could make a great Governor. I hope he runs in 2010.

He had to have this meeting. It was the meeting where he kissed the ring and pledged his loyalty.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Capricorn

Mercury retrograde in your sign will cause some friction between you and other people during coming weeks. Matters that have been bubbling away in the background will come to the boil, forcing you to do something about them. Try not to overreact, nor to create a crisis out of something that's really very minor. You should also keep a strong sense of fair play and pay attention to every little detail.
