Why is being gay looked at as a civil matter.
No one has passed laws denying gays the right to read and write, vote, telling them where they can and cant live or forced them to work for them without pay. What exactly is the civil issue about a gay person wanting to have sex with their own gender. This is not a civil matter. This is between them and god. And for the ones who say they were born that way, well, that too is between them and god. They should read Romans chapter 1, verse 27, 28, and 29. I am not judging gay people but in recent time, the behavior has become quite absurd. First marriage, then adoption. Now you want to put this mess in schools.
That is where I draw the line. You have your choice and you have made it. But how dare gay people try to get into the minds of children. Being gay is nothing more than your sexual appetite for the same gender. Because this is a topic of sexual nature, it has no place around children. Straight people do not discuss sex with children until they are of age so why should a gay person be allowed to adopt and put a child in a situation where they are forced to deal with a sexual topic just as soon as their two moms or dads drop them off at school.
This is selfish on the part of gay people. They are exploiting those children and their childhood all so they can try to make this behavior seem normal. Weather you agree or not, children should not be faced with any topics sexual in nature until they are of age. And if you expect a bunch of kindergarteners to be mature on the topic then that is selfish as well. That child will be ridiculed by the children who don't have gay parents-hence exposing other children to that behavior. A sex life gay or straight belongs behind doors. I don't want to see gay or straight people kissing in public. It seems to me that some gay people have become quite provocative with public displays of affection. Then if some one comments, they are gay bashing? Straight people do not on a regular expose society to their sexual choices. In most arenas it would be considered sexual harassment or inappropriate. So why don't gay people respect the rights of straight people. No one is saying you have to stay in the closet, but please at least stay in the bedroom like everyone else.

Gay rights activists don't respect anyone. Evidence is seen in how they have demonstrated against churches, destroyed property, etc. Their actions are similar to other domestic terrorist groups like the Occupy Walstreet Movement. They believe the end justifies the means and will use destruction or violence if neccessary.

Otherwise, I have gay and lesbian friends I work with who are probaby more respectful and/or polite than many straight people. I respect them and they respect me. Gay bashing is wrong just as much as racial prejudice is. Jesus loves sinners, regardless what kind of sinners we've been. Thank God, He loves and forgives!

You keep claiming to be christian, and yet you lie in every post!

Please post a link to all those demonstrations against churches by gay groups. I am betting you cant! LIAR!

Destroy property? LIAR...please link to ANY story about a group of gays destroying property...>YOU CANT

You are a consrervative, not a christian. A real Christian wouldnt lie as often as you do! Conservatives lie all the time

Dude, you've posted both from DC and B'more. So you are in the DC area. Did you know that per capita the DC area has the 2nd highest gay population?

I know for a fact you don't spout your insanity in public in the DC area. Our gays are feisty and would beat you down, then picket your home and work place.

The truth be told, I'm on the fence about gay marriage. Leaning towards no. I am for gay unions and gay people being able to collect the benefits of their partners.

The drama part of me is looking forward to Judge Judy hearing a gay divorce case. Oink Oink

first of all, I am from south east Dc. the page choses to switch the destination from time to time. Second it is not insanity and I am very publicly vocal about my opinions because they are sincere and not meant to mean. my opinions and questions on the matter are honest and fact based. no gay jokes- This question is serious. Third, I am not worried about fighting any gays and I would never be lucky enough for them to come to my house. the punishment would be justified and severe. and fourth, I hate everything Baltimore. That is the most low class town in the country. bottom line gay behavior belongs in the bedroom right along with straight sexual behavior

um you should read romans chapter 1 verse 29. I support your quote for the most part. but some are in denial about what category gay people and their punishment will be placed in. that scripture is clear. for the whole picture read verses 27, 28, and 29
