What a shame to distract a visitor,s attention from the beautiful redbuds, etc. along the on/off ramps at Metropolis with so much trash! Where is civic pride? We all know the state isn't going to clean it up, but what about the city? Maybe those who are incarcerated could get out there and do something constructive for their room and board. How much has to build up out there before some civic group takes over? Can individuals do it without getting into trouble somehow? Does anyone have an answer to this embarrasing mess?
