Defense cuts are here and it will affect Columbus but they are needed.
Time to cut the entitlement programs too.

Everything needs to be cut and all are going to have to pay a little more including the rich, middle class and to a lessor extent the poor will have to get less soial pograms, otherwise we all go over the cliff and stand in soup lines!

I agree, raise taxes across the board by the same percentage and cut everything (defense, entitlement and social programs)by the same percentage.
There are no more "sacred cows", any and everything will be cut. Time for ALL of America to sacrifice for the good of the Country.

If the republicans resist cutting the defense or raising taxes on anyone, vote them out.
If the democrats resist any entitlement, social program cut or raising taxes on anyone, vote them out.
If the President refuses to sign it, make your voice heard

You people really don't believe Obama is going to cut social programs do you?
Remember he's a social-ist. Don't get me wrong, I hope he does and does it drastically but I just don't see it happening.

We have to be sure that after raising these taxes that the same day major cuts are made or else Democrats and Republican Congressmen will spend the new revenue and forget the budget cut part. I think this is especially true about the democrats. Once the new tax revenue comes forget the budget cuts, let's spend, spend, spend it all up and then want more.

I guess we will all see what happens, I know the tax increases are coming. Will they cut entitlement/ social spending though. Last I heard Pelosi said no way unless taxes are raised much more, she needs to learn to meet compromise with compromise.

The military and justice dept. need major cuts. There is more pork in defence than all entitlements put together. It's going to be a really good show! Less fbi and DEA breaking our constitution with warrantless wiretapping of Americans. Let them be greaters at Walmart.
