I am a concerned tax paying citizen with a family in wrightsville and a few weeks ago I was advised that if the Boro residents need an ambulance it has to come from Hellam and if it is a serious problem you have to wait upwards of 15 minutes for a special "als" unit from york also I heard if the ambulance is not available then we have to wait for an ambulance that is volunteer to come from east prospect
Why is this I was told there is a special als unit in columbia and that they also have an ambulance. Their time to the boro has to be quicker then york or a volunteer unit from east prospect why do the citizens in our community have to wait so long for proper care. Someone told me that the fire chief makes these decisions is this true if so then he needs to consider this if my family suffers a life threatening medical condition where time counts the council and fire chief will be top of my list Why are we so concerned about the police and not worried about our health sincerely concerned taxpaying citizen |
