Thank y'all very much for coming out today. We really appreciate the kind words and the support we receive from everyone. Right now, we don't have a perfect plan to make this happen, but we've got a great group of folks working here that are willing to do what it takes to figure it out.

Our goal as a restaurant is to serve great soul food in a comfortable environment. We're working to establish our own 501c3, but will work with local food banks and shelters until we reach that goal. Our goal as a non-profit will be to treat everyone with love and respect. We'll create a place that gives those who are unable to afford a hot meal, the opportunity to get something good to eat (in a comfortable setting as well). It will also give those wishing to volunteer with us, the opportunity to create relationships with folks who they might not have ever come into contact with because of a couple different turns in life.

We don't know how everything will turn out. We'll be patient, do our best, and continue to share our story with anyone who would like to listen. From top to bottom, we're doing our best to make this world a more comfortable place...one plate of soul food at a time.

We need more Momma Deans. If each of us could feed one hungry person we could wipe out hunger in our area. My hat is off too Momma Dean and my prayers are with her and her hard work. It cannot be easy to do what she does I only wish my health allowed me to roll up my sleeves and help. MAY God bless you and your staff as you make our world a better place to live in.

BRAVO!!!! BRAVO!!!!! It warms my heart and renews my faith in humanity to see a story like this. What love this woman has...we should all strive to be more like these...stop being so wrapped up in our own little stories and reach out to those that need the help. God Bless you

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Sagittarius

The rumour mill is especially active, and interesting tales are coming at you from all sides. Don't believe everything you hear: there are people who will start gossip to further their own aims and you don't want to help them unwittingly. Similarly, don't reveal too much of yourself to those who you don't know intimately - keep your own counsel.
