Anyone know what happened at practice today? I heard some of the kids were walking out on the coach - what's the scoop?? We don't need bad vibes before a homecoming game!

What an awesome game! The boys came through with flying colors! It was good to see the coaches talking to them on the sidelines - the boys needed that guidance and the results showed. Good energy in the bleachers too - let's keep that Waseca spirit and support our boys! Go Jays!!

I saw in the newspaper the jays won big. Congratulations to the coaches and players. They should be able to handle New Ulm this Friday. I can see a 4-1 final record in the conference.

New Ulm took it to the Jays. Wow! The Eagles outplayed, out hustled and out hit the Jays.

I love to watch the bluejay football team play but every friday when I come to the games there is always someone new not suited up for some sort of mshl violation. What is going on with this team? iI think the coaches need to step up and gain some control of this team. Those players are out of control. I just hope one of those coaches gain some control so I dont see anyone new sitting out.

the coaches can only do so much to help the players from making stupid decisions... wat do you want them to do follow all the players around after the games and make sure they dnt hurt the team...? it comes down to the players taking resposibilty for there actions. and the ones that continue to make these decisions dont care about the team. they put themselves before the team and thats whats happening. what i think the jays are lacking is leadership from the upper classman. they need someone to stand up to the ones trying to hurt the team and tell them its not right.

I just heard that about 5 varsity players won't be playing at this Friday's home game because a PARENT notified the school that the boys were out past curfew! Is this possible? I don't think somebody else should be keeping tabs on other people's kids! Can someone fill me in? I also understand that it's the kids LAST home game - since they're all seniors. Such a shame ...

that can't be true, can it?

Apparently it is true. One of the kids that won't be able to play because of being out past curfew (just past 12:30 and who was on his way home) is a team captain, the other two have parents on the school board. Has anyone ever heard of such a policy? Shouldn't the parents decide the punishment? Is someone out there trying to "get back" at the school board members? So many questions?????

I would stll find it hard to believe whether it's board members' kids or any other kid. There sure is a curfew policy, but I've never heard of it being enforced. Who are the other 2 players?

Well I guess a Dad thought it was necessary to have the curfew enforced and since his son came home late, he decided the other kids should get in trouble as well. Now the kids can't play and the only thing they did wrong was stay out past curfew (with parent consent). But I guess the school's rules supercede the parent's rules!!
