I share the concern of others of how all 3 communications needs are supplied on one line. Had we not had cell phones, we'd have not had any means to call out. And if there was an emergency, we would have not been able to call 911, if Comcast was the only way we could communicate.
And why would Comcast permit a critical main line to be overhead at a vertical height low enough for a passing truck to cut it down? It would seem to me that whoever engineered this system should have taken "Murphy's Law" into consideration.
Also the story says that, according to Comcast representatives, the line was cut at 10:30AM. Then why was our cable, phone, internet out before 7AM? Somebody got their story wrong.
