NYPD Cracks Sadistic Gang Of Cop Impersonators

A sadistic gang of police impersonators abducted and tortured scores of East Coast cocaine traffickers, forcing them to hand over multimillion-dollar stashes by threatening to squeeze their testicles with pliers, authorities said Tuesday.

An indictment unsealed in federal court in Brooklyn charged eight men with robbery conspiracy, drug dealing and an array of other crimes.

Since the spring of 2003, the gang injured about 100 people while committing 100 holdups targeting large-scale traffickers in New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida, investigators said. Read more

My pet peeve is stupid bureaucrats using reflexive pronouns incorrectly. On a good day, the ignorant Captain Denise can contact herself. She cannot contact myself; she can only contact ME. Similarly, I can only contact HER (not that I would want to) but I cannot contact herself.
Captain Dense (excuse me, Denise) here is a rule to help you: never use a reflexive pronoun unless the alternative is obviously wrong. Example: Denise: go **** yourself.

i originally thought the same thing... until i read that they were reselling the coke on the streets of new york themselves... making them three times as bad as the other drug dealers they stole from. Also-- what about the families they held captive? The women and children who were likely not involved?
