The Watchtower organization is going to do very well with these real estate transactions. It should be quite a boost in their financial situation. It will more then make up for the decreased contributions from its members. The Watchtower is very sophisticated in its real estate dealings. The use of "voluntary" workers also will definitely add to their profit.

How about you really do not know much of anything, especially about contributions to the Watchtower.

If they are leaving the area, does this mean no more flyers stuck on my car pushing their religion on others?

No one mentioned how much the Watchtower has had to pay because of the Pedophile Scandal. I do not know the percentage but just think of all the money contributed to the kingdom halls that goes to this fund. The income derived from the real estate sales will help replenish the coffers. I was not aware that volunteers workers have increased.

Remember back in the 80's, when they were bull-horning that the United Nations would confiscate their properties, and then after that, would attack the "Organization" which would then cause Armageddon???

I remember. Still have some of the magz they were throwing around with the false prophecy in them. Absolutely ridiculous.... Turns out the United Nations was/is no more interested in confiscating their properties than they are in making every American a millionaire. I'm sure the Watchtower magicians have and will make a pretty penny from the WILLING SALE of their properties.

Adding an addendum to my previous comment:

To correct what I posted: they prophesied that the government, VIA the United Nations, would confiscate their properties, and that in-turn would cause the "...outbreak of Armageddon". HAA!! Right....

Looks like the UN is tied up with IMPORTANT stuff, like global initiatives that deal with hunger and war...

Why if armageddon is so close, why would they even do this? Why are they moving to the boonies?

This is said here...

Warwick Town Supervisor Michael Sweeton agreed. He said Watchtower officials have told him they plan to use all kinds of recycled materials with a vast amount of open space to remain.

The order plans to develop 10-11 percent of the property and leave the remainder in its natural state. Plans include placing all resident parking underground to minimize pavement and storm water runoff.

An underground parking area? This really makes me wonder what they are up to. Does anyone remember reading in a Watchtower not long ago, they said witnesses MUST trust them, no matter what?

Excellent point. It seems the Watchtower wants to forget its past.

Karen, you are blonde, aren't you? You blow me away with your dumbness.

The underground parking is for ecological reasons, to prevent water runoff.

I'll bet this was your call to Blondestar:
