One morning I was driving down the road that pj is on and I thought it was just beautiful. It makes me sad to see what someone has done to the mountain behind the school. It looks so ugly now. When people do things like this it takes years for it to be pretty again.

Guess you're one of the tree huggers huh? It may look bad now, but the mountain has been reclaimed (which means seedling trees have been planted and grass sown) so in few years it will look better than it did to start with and be alot healthier for the animals. The people that cut the tImber off that mountain has a family to feed and believe me, its no easy job, they work for every penny they get.

"Not surprised" you are still the dickhead. The original post was not ugly, mean or hateful. They simply asked a question. Perhaps had you just answered the question by stating that it was cut to take care of a family and that it had been reclaimed there would have been no other ugly responses, BUT you chose to start out your post with name calling and negativity. Which I must point out proves you are a true Morgan county idiot and I know it is not your fault, you can't help where you were born or how you were raised, BUT again you started the name calling and showed your ignorance. Good luck in your mean small minded ways.

It doesn't look very "reclaimed". If we have a very wet winter there could be some pretty interesting mud slides.

that mountain is full of bears, mountain lions, wild hogs, rattleshanks, and the creek is full of water mossacins. i wish they would tear it down.they could cut off all the trees and haul that dirt out of the county to sale it and make moneyand i bet they is still coal in there.

Wrong again! Ever people that logged that mountain has been logging for over 30 years! Don't have a damn thing to do with logging shows, got everything to do with trying to make a living! Go talk to oak ridge hardwood, their the ones that bought the STANDING timber and had it logged. And believe it or not they was around before any logging show too!

I just thought it used to pretty and now it is not. one of the only things this county has going for us right now is it's beauty. I wish it at least could have been left looking a little better. It was beautiful to see behind the school and now it is an eye sore.
