AMBULATORY IS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK... WE HAVE DOCTORS AND NURSES THAT WORK HARD EVERYDAY TO HELP PEOPLE. WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER ALL THE DRUG SEEKERS IN THIS WORLD THAT NOT ONLY TRY TO GET IN OUR CLINIC BUT ITS ALL CLINICS. ALL WE CAN DO IS SEE EACH PATIENT AND TRY TO DO OUR BEST TO TREAT THEM. WE DO TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO DO RANDOM DRUG TESTING AND PILL COUNTS TO TRY TO STOP DRUG ABUSE. OUR STAFF TRIES HARD TO TREAT ALL OF OUR PATIENTS WITH RESPECT AND CARE. WE ARE NO DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER CLINIC HAVING TO DEAL WITH THE DRUG ABUSE PROBLEM THAT IS EVERYWHERE. WE HAVE ALOT OF TRULY SICK PATIENTS THAT WE SEE EVERYDAY AND WE HAVE ALOT OF PATIENTS THAT REALLY HAVE PAIN ISSUES. THERE IS NO WAY TO DETERMINE IF EVERYONE WE SEE IS TAKING MEDS AS THEY SHOULD BUT WE TAKE EVERY PRECAUTION TO TRY AND MAKE SURE THEY DO. WHEN WE HAVE PROOF OF PATIENTS ABUSING MEDS THEY ARE DISMISSED. WE DO NOT APROVE OF DRUG ABUSE IN ANY MANOR AND STRIVE HARD TO MAKE OUR CLINIC A FAMILY HEALTH CARE FACILITY AS WELL AS MANAGE PAIN FOR PATIENTS THAT HAVE PAIN ISSUES. IM PROUD TO WORK FOR AMBULATORY CARE AND THANKFUL FOR MY JOB....

No one, and I mean NO ONE, and I don't care what kind of pain they are SUPPOSEDLY in needs three months worth of Xanax, Opana, Hydro's AND Oxy's. AT ONE TIME. You're just as braindead as the rest of them if you think anyone needs that kind of medication. God forbid, if I ever hurt that bad I hope somebody just goes ahead and puts me out of my misery. I worked there also and there is some wonderful people that works there. Theres some really good doctors and nurses that work there. Now on the other hand you have one doctor in particular that likes to grab asses and push pills to anyone that will pay a price. You would think that the TBI would be investigating why one doctor writes sooooooo many painpill scripts. Is there really that many people that need that much medication? Most of them are on tenncare. Theyll set there all day on wednsday and friday just to get their scripts for their pain meds from the good doctor.

For your information Lisa, if we were doing anything wrong dont you think we would have already been shut down???? Since we are still thriving and providing not only Healthcare for many but also jobs for around 70 emplyees. As for the rest of you unless you are comming there and getting all the meds you say we are handing out then how would you even know what we are prescribing to our patients. As for the comment about the ass grabbing pain pill pushing Doctor, I have been ther for three years and i have never seen a Doctor there act inappropriate with any of our Employees or the Patients. If they sit all day to see a Doctor i guess that means hes a really good Doctor and his patients oviously really trust and like him. I bet most of you are posting this because your mad because you came there and didnt get the meds you thought you would and as for the Employee, you were probably fired for something inappropriate yourself. I dont have to defend our clinic because we are doing nothing wrong but stupid idiots that have nothing better to do than get on topix and post about things to cause trouble really piss me off... I never get on this stupid site but a friend told me about our clinic being trashed and i just wanted you all to know that its all just a bunch of crap from a bunch of losers. i wont be back on this site again , I think i have made my point , so go right ahead and post all the crap you want to but it wont effect our clinic, we will survive and be just fine and continue to provide healthcare and jobs to alot of people and families. I am Proud to be an Empoyee at Ambulatory Care and i am very thankful to have a job that i love and treats its Employees and patients with nothing but respect and care. Despite all the negative talk about the Ambulatory Care Center.We give quality Health care to alot of people.Can you remember when all we had was the Medical center? By the way can you remember a certain Dr.that was selling pain med.scripts? We dont do that at Ambulatory Care.Patients ARE screened on a regular basis,and many are DISMISSED upon proof of misuse.We work hard to stay within the law.You can blame pain clinics all you want,but the real problem is those who abuse the system.The same can be said about Welfare,Unemployment and Food Stamp abusers.By the way it is a routine to give a 3mth. scripts for any medicatoin a patient will be taking for extended time period. We have a GREAT Medical staff far better than this county has ever had. IM PROUD to work there as well. Its easy to be critical about things excepting the reality of of the times we live in is the hard part. You have people that will abuse any system thats there but what about the people WE help who truely need it.

No. No one said it was illegal to run a business who hands out the amount of pills that this facility does. Just because it's legal, however, doesn't make it right.

No, they were not prescribed to me. They were prescribed to a family member who is in his early twenties and claims that he needs these for his back. Yet I've never seen him have any major problems, maybe because he don't know where he's at half the time. Opana, Xanax, Oxys and Hydros. 90 pills OF EACH. EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH.

Not necessarily. Addicts will set hours upon hours to see a doctor not because he is a good doctor, but because they know that doctor will give them what they want. And ofcourse the really trust and like him, why wouldn't they? They can get what they want.

I am not saying that every single employee out there feeds our county (and surrounding) pills. I am not saying that every doctor there does that either. But if you have just one doctor who DOES do that...it ruins the whole clinic. I stand by my opinion about ACC. And you can stand by yours.

Why would a doctor give them 90 pills of each EVERY month? Whoever this doc is needs to lose his license....somebody needs to investigate. Prob not taking them...selling them most likely. LOSERS!!!!!

that place has been a problem for years.. as its patient count grew so did the number of junkies in the area.... when they first started seeing patients you walk in with a headache and walk out with 120 hydrocodones... then they got on the news for overperscribing meds... so they tightened up a little ... now if a patient is dismissed they just go to another satelite location where one of the docs sees patients... big help there huh... they should all be indicted for fraud since they all own a stake in the pharmacy too.... hell they get tenncare money for seeing you for the 3 minutes the doctors, and i use the term lightly, spend with you ... and im sure the doctors keen observational skills can determine a 120 lb patient needs 120 pain pills of one kind, 120 of another kind , and 120 nerve pills every month..... they all are legalized drug dealers and should be put to a firing squad for what they have done to our county
