they are not good, they are ok at best. I am glad to see Advance Auto up here now. I was shocked to see it make it, considering..enuff said. Since it came in I havent shopped with NAPA anymore and I dont have to pay that high raised prices that Napa would inflate cause it was the only AutoParts around. Now we need a McDonalds, GameStop, Comcast Internet, Wal-Mart and CVS. This county also needs a better County youth program and a YMCA.

yea right = everytime I go into Advance Auto I turn "invisible" nobody will wait on you - give me the "good ole boys" at NAPA anytime - at least they take the time to wait on you and help you - Advance won't make it long here........

If I have a wad of chewing tobacco in my mouth, covered with grease, Advance is a good place to go,and yes I agree for some reason I'm invisable there. On the other hand NAPA bends over backwards making sure what I need meeeting my needs. Service wise NAPA is one of the more honest places to go for service.

your both wrong, Napa isnt going to make it here and the future is Advance Auto, just get used to it. They will sellout like Youngs Auto Parts did before long, I would bet.

I have used NAPA for years even way back when it was Western Auto and I have always had great service.

Mr. Bradshaw and his staff do an excellent job and I would recommend them over Advance anytime.

I think the world of the staff. I just hate the monopoly that this county has in this town! Napa is a good store, its just more expensive than Advance on parts. The service to be honest is the same.

everyone has there own opinion in what store they like, get over it! if you dont like it dont go there! & to "Your Moms Name Here" more to Oak Ridge! I hate seeing our small town turned upside cause everyone wants a bigger road so they can drive faster! Alot of people love morgan county because of how small & down home it is. Lets keep it that way.

I dont really shop at NAPA , they never have what I need . Unless i need a pack of light bulbs from 1947 that have been hanging on their shelf since. advance is the best thing for the town. Auto zone wont be long behind.......

Just thought I'd let you know that NAPA isn't all that. I had my car serviced there before. They supposedly put in a new part, car still didn't work. Told me it needed a different part, they put it in and the car worked...well long enough for me to drive it halfway to work the next day. Took it back, they said nothing was wrong with it that it worked. Drove it again, guess what...it broke down on me again. Took it to a different place in Roane Co. They replaced the first part NAPA was suppose to, the car worked forever then. They said the part was an old part and didn't think NAPA had changed it. Went back to NAPA with the statement for the new part but they were really hateful. Wouldn't even listen to me, wouldn't refund nothing. As far as I'm concerned they could close down.

We don't need WalMart here but Target would be a bonus. CVS or Walgreens would be nice. A better youth program and YMCA would be great. Our youth do need more options.

I've just been in NAPA and Advance Auto a few times and to be honest, they are about the same to me. I was helped at both places so to those who felt they were invisible-sorry you were treated that way. Thankfully the people who waited on me were friendly and helpful which is as it should be.

Took my truck to NAPA for oil change and the guy charged me for SIX quarts of oil and EVEN had the nerve to tell me yeah, some of the newer vehicles take 7 quarts of oil! I'll NEVER take my Ranger back there again!! Jimmy at Ford got a good laugh about my oil change experience, but he will be changing my oil anyway from now on.

Well i know that we all love going to Wal Mart,Target and CVS but to have those in Wartburg would be a shame. Not because of the loss of small business(only the strong servive) but just as soon as you bring places like that in you drag alot of unwanted trash with you. When i was growing up my Mom and Dad never locked their doors. We never got robbed, when you bring people in that are not like people from Morgan Co. there will be trouble. I know that people will say that i'm just ignorant but go to Gamble Valley or Lonsdale and see if they would want to raise your kids there. I know we have a problem here with the pill heads but if we take care of the problems here and don't "SHIP" more in by making Wartburg a bigger place it can stay a semi-safe place to live.

NAPA is a great business. I would trust them to work on my car anytime. The machanics are all great. Johnny Freytag is the best one in my opinion. He takes the time and explains everything to you if you ask him too. I was glad to see Advance Auto come to town. If NAPA don't have a part in stock and you need it right then, atleast you got a short drive to get it. I agree with "good bye small town", we don't need any big chain companies in Wartburg. It's bad enough that they are making 62 wider... I wonder how many people will be trying to race on the straight infront of the vocational school and how many lifes will be lost there. They already do it on a 2 lane road and not the county are givig them 2 lanes of road where they won't have to worry about meeting a car head on. What is this county thinking???

I will agree, Johnny Freytag is a good mechanic. I have my vehicle serviced there all the time and they always treat me right. And BTW, my newer vehicle DOES hold 7 qts of oil with filter change. Also, Steve is good on the counter, and always has a good attitude.

Some larger engines do hold 7 quarts of oil, the Dodge Hemi for example. But I guarantee there is not a Ford Ranger with a factory engine that requires 6 or 7 quarts for an oil change!
