I asked Lisa in Becky Ruppe's office back on June 27th, the day of the Rumble on the Mountain motorcycle ride, to see if she could find someone in the area that could help me get my 4'x18' above ground swimming pool set up. She told me to leave my name and number with her and she would get back with me and let me know what she could find out. Well, here it is the 27th of July and I still haven't heard from her. So, is there anyone around here that could help me get this pool set up since Lisa isn't gonna call me back?

I didn't know it was the county executives job to set up our swimming pools. I've always fancied having a gazebo, who do I contact for that one the road comissioner or the court clerk?

Becky Ruppe won't help get anything done. Call John Mark or Lincoln. I tried to get ruppe 4 times over the phone about a problem and couldn't get a response. It would be easier to get through to the president than our county executive.

ok so let me get this right you think it is the leaders of Morgan Co to put your pool together. THat is hiliarious.. If you bought it it isyour place to find someone to put it up. Put an ad on trade time many ppl are looking for side jobs nad need a little extra money. That is not there job to go out here and find someone to put things together for us. I need a bigger bathroom I guess I will call the mayor to come and build it for me. oh yeah and my house inside needs to be painted maybe I can get Becky's office to come and do that for me too or at least find someone too. Man don't we wish life was that easy everything isn't gonna be handed down on a silver platter. Find someone.

You are f'n stupid!!!!

God this is the problem with you people, it is not her job, nor any government official to help you set up a pool!!!! If you were going to ask her hell why not call the Presidents office of Sentor Corker... WOW it amazing me how stuipd some people are in the world and you take the GRAND PRIZE TODAY!!!

That woman in her office was probley laughing her a*s off after you asked that.. I know I would have!

It isn't Becky's job to get your swimming pool in. Your probablly on welfare and draw food tamps and drive a Lexus and carry a Coach purse and complain about how all the Mexicans are taking your jobs! Becky goes way above her job description but installing swimming pools is not one of them!

I went to Ruppe's office to get something done about the Heareaus plant. It wasn't long after they moved here when my cattle quit giving milk, I can't grow watermelon or pumkins anymore, and my dogs ran away. That place needs shut down. Ruppe's helpers kept telling me she was in a conference. I left and went back later and they told me the same thing. I've called back half a dozen times and can't get an answer. We need to vote her out!

Im sure u sent this question in not to get totally ridiculed. Ppl can be really mean. I'm going to assume that maybe you are new in town and that is why you asked the county exec's office for info on something like that? Anyway, doesnt matter, u thought they would help and they have not, so, if u would like to set up a way to reach one another, I'm sure I can set u up w/ some names of ppl who do that sort of things. Good luck.

It's a friggin' swimming pool any half drunk idiot could assemble on a saturday afternoon! It's not like he/she is trying to start a small business. But with that level of intellect, they probably will. God this county is so damn stupid!

Well, for starters, maybe she doesnt know any half-drunken idiots: can you call up some of your family for her? And what does starting a small business have to do with the price of tea in China?!?! As for 'levels of intellect', oh, hon, you don't want to go there with me...
But I WILL give you one thing; 'Snarky' is a perfect name for you. PERFECT.
And obviously you've never assembled a pool before. There is ALOT of work to do. Sometimes you even could require a dozer. And then there's other things to consider: maybe the person in question is in bad health or is a single mother or has some other issue as such making it impossible to do by herself.(himself??) But the point I was TRYING to make to begin with when I first started the whole thing is that instead of automatically turning so vehemently mean and angry, maybe, JUST MAYBE, we could instead try lending a helping hand instead. I dont know, maybe its just me.

Then haul yo ass down to the pool place and buy a pool from them! They'll send a team of Mexicans to your house and have your pool set up and filling up before sundown. You gotta pay if you're gonna play!

I'm so sick of people playing the "single mom" card or trying to get my sympathy for the sick. If you're so damn sick, you should have bigger issues than getting your pool set up. This is exactly what's wrong with Morgan Co. it's filled with people who expect other people to take care of their shit!

Has anyone thought she needed help putting her pool up for a child that needs it. Come on people think twice before you jump on her for asking for help. Maybe the child needs it to help them stay motivated over a health problem

Please! Still is not our elected officials to help out with this stuff... that is why we have church groups and community service organizations. John Mark and Becky and Lincoln are not elected to put her pool up or to wash my dog! If it is a health issuie or something like that then contact your church for help or the Baptist group in town that helps out with stuff like that. Again I think she just wanted to bitch and grip since its election year. She has posted stuff like this before which makes me wonder about her mental state, so I hope no children are involved.

OK maybe I need to add a few clarifications here. I first went to the Chamber of Commerce asking if there were any local businesses that might be willing to help me out. I was referred to Lisa in Becky Ruppe's office, not to Becky Ruppe. So at no time was I expecting Becky Ruppe to put up my pool, I'm not that stupid. But when someone tells me they are gonna call with names or numbers for me to contact for help, the least they could do is follow up and do it. Both my husband and I are disabled, so we can't set this pool up by ourselves. And its not like we were asking for it to be done for free, we just want it done right. We just don't know anyone to have do it.

Well it looks like the "promise you the moon then leave you has hanging" syndrome trickled down from Becky ruppe to her office workers. On Weco Don Edwards explained if he made promises they would be fulfilled when he is in office. And if something happens to upset his plans he will come to you and explain why.

Bull... even if he won, he'd quit before he was able to fullfill his promises to the Armes... I mean to the people of Morgan County.

This whole pool thing still doesnt set right with me.. I think she did expect them to come and set it up for her...if she even talked to someone about it! Just Edwards people.

Think what you want, you're going to any way, if you have the capability to think that is. I just want to get my pool set up, you narrow, small-minded people don't know anything anyway. This has nothing to do with your political stupidities. Don Edwards is just as lazy as the next person, as soon as he would be elected, he would forget what he promised to do, too.
