Adams family has tried everything to help him including going into debt. Not that two wrongs make it right, but I wonder how a 19 year old was able to get intoxicated???

its not that hard for underage kids to get ahold of alcohol these days? So if your looking for someone else to blame it probably is going to be a little more difficult then you think. This kid does sound like he has some troubles, but like some have said maybe a little jail time will help him out.
