Why bother to do anything with US 65 now? It has been years that it was made very difficult to identify and connect to US 65 in Iowa. It is marked as US 69 and you must make a very sharp turn to get onto US 65 and then negotiate a square turn after that.

Coming from Iowa, if you don't watch it, the traffic will lead to Cameron instead of Chillicothe.

Seriously!!! You sit here and bitch about no jobs, and companies wanting to locate here. If 65 was 4 lane all the way to I-70, companies might consider us. We would then have good roads leading out Chillicothe on all sides.

What has taken so long to do something with 65 highway? Heck look what they did with 7 highway and yet 65 has more traffic.

Seriously about cemeteries, I am sorry but who cares, infastructure is way more important to the living people. Better infastructure for a town, the more jobs!!!

You don't need a better 65 highway, just more exits out of town.

Admittedly 65 is getting a little worn from all the exit traffic. 65 don't seem to have stopped any graduating class yet! But 4 laning 36 made it faster!

4 laning 36 never brought much, except the prisoners!

Got another bank, for those with too much money for one, got another exercise joint for aching backs, got a hotel for the mistress, got a sandwich shoppe to run Subway out. Widening 36 brought a lot AND it takes alot, alot of people leaving.

Four lane 65, let's get the heck out, while the gettin's good!
