Police Chief Arrested For DUI

What really makes me think is the people seen on the news stating what a hard time Gould is going through, everyone goes through hard times in life what b/c you are the Cheif of Police and going through hard times that means you should pay less for your crimes, do the judges, police, courts ect take into consideration when someone who is just a average person gets into trouble is having a hard time in their life????

THIS SORT OF THING HAS BEEN GOING ON WITH DONNIE FOR THE LONGEST. BRENT CALDWELL SHOULD BE THE CHIEF, PLUS DONNIE HAS RAN OFF EXCELLENT OFFICERS OVER THE YEARS. LOOK BACK ON HOW MANY TICKETS AND CRIMES HE HAS INVSTIGATED IN THE LAST 5 YEARS. HIS BROTHER JIM GOULD CAN READ OR SPELL ASK OTHER AND FORMER OFFICERS THERE. IF HE GETS OFF I DONT KNOW HOW ANY OTHER OFFICERS CAN CHARGE SOMEONE FOR DUI. LOOK BACK FROM 2001 TO 2003 AND SEE THE OFFICERS THAT LEFT BECAUSE OF HIS LACK OF SUPPORT. THE ONLY BLACK OFFICER WAS PUT ON NIGHTS SO HE COULDNT WRITE TICKETS OR CHARGE ANYONE. BRENT WAS ALSO PUT ON NIGHTS WHEN GOULD WAS UPSET. THEN HE HIRED A GUY WHO FAILED OUT OF SCHOOL BECAUSE HE COULDNT DO 20 SIT UP. ITS FINALLY CAUGHT UP TO YOU.

I can not see how this has went on.He got by with it. Someone who we are suppose to look to for help here and gets a slap on the wrist. This is telling our kids that it is ok to drink and drive.Shame on our courts and shame on the force.I think everyone should go to the court lawns and stand together and see that something comes out of this.And he should be taken out of the force.

give me a break. everyone knows that gallatin co. is a joke when it comes to the law. I bet half the weed growing in the county is by CERTAIN ELECTED officials too, what ever happened about that? Donnie is a discrace to the community so basically the police force is represented by a law breaking thug.

First of all do not judge until you would know the whole story. There is a lot more going on in the little town of Warsaw. This is minor compared to the big dogs there. Sounds like Mr. Caldwell is just jealous and would like to have Mr. Gould's job.

You are so out of date on this subject. I do know the whole story I see it every day. True Gallatin county is corrupt. From the police dept. to our fire department. Sons of political figures drive drunk and kill people and the defense says the girl died due to being on a cell phone. It doesnt matter that the man was drunk, driving a high rate of speed and on the wrong side of the road. We are all getting ready to see what weight his name will carry. Oh by the way has anyone ever wondered what happens to the money that the Glencoe fire department raises while standing on the side of the road begging for? Hmmm

Many of us that live in Gallatin County have a verona address iceman. Trust me my ties to Glencoe give me all the right to bitch about the goings on there. This is an opinion forum so just as you I am giving mine. Also Glencoe no need in going to the meetings I know them all and see many examples of coruption.

most of the state police in ky or a joke. writing tickets in the city for no seat belt/s looking for a car or truck with a lite out. taking money out of the pocket of working people and older people on fixed income for such a chick sh//t thing.

Although I dont drink and drive, in Gallatin County it is only legal to do so if you are a cop. With the exception of a couple most all of this counties police are corupt and all the firefighters think they are gods that can drive 100 miles an hour.

Does the police dpt not have rules and regs regading your health.....seems that Donnie Gould is a severe diabetic...he can't see worth a damn, nor can he hear....so why exactly is he still the chief?? Wouldnt want him to be in charge of a "columbine shooting" at our school and be responsible to get my 4 kids out !!!
