For those that own a gun, or guns. Should Obama push for a law that every person in America, that owns a firearm.

1. Be required to Register all of their Firearms before they can get a license for their car, truck, boat, motorhome?

2. Require every State in the United States to require the Federal Law to be passed or not receive any Government funding for any reason.

3. Anyone that desires to carry a concealed weapon, be required to pay the County in which they reside $500.00 for a permit to carry any weapon concealed on their person. Anyone caught without a permit will be fined $5000 and or 5 years or both, to be determined by the County Circuit Judge of the District in which the offender resides. Five years of imprisonment, fine, or both for violation of State Law, a mandatory fine will be required for each violation.

3. Each car, truck, boat, motorhome license renewal owner, be given 60 days to Register all firearms of any kind or age. Anyone that hasn't followed the Fereral guidelines or State law, offenders will be fined no less than $500.00, nor no more than $10,000 per violation.

4. Anyone caught violating the State Law, will forfeit all ownership of all guns in the household. Plus a fine of no less than $500.00 per weapon, and no more than $10,000 for all guns in violation.

NO!! on all counts. Guns do not kill, its the idiot that is pulling the trigger that kills. Take away all guns and destroy them and those same idiots would still find a way to kill. The problem is you.. A person that wants the government to tell you when you can or cant wipe your butt.

I put this on here to read what the idiots had to say. Another point the idiots need someone to tell them what to do, and how to do it, there is where the Government comes in. If you leave things up to the individual, nothing happens or if it does, they become greedy.

And how would your proposed laws prevent the shooting in CT?

And your "gun control" is really just a tax. I am sure all the hunters and hobbyist would comply. Do you really think the felons and mentally ill will?

What about knives, stun guns and other weapons?

You want to tie this to all federal funding? So if the state chooses not to pass these draconian measures, you'd cut off funding for Medicaid and school lunches?

So to pass gun control you'd cut off funding to feed and provide healthcare to our most needy individuals?

I can see why you voted for Obama. Central control, one size fits all and no clue as how to get results that solve the problem.

Why do you think that person in CT killed so many innocent people.

Let's change the situation. What if the shooter went into a place where some were carrying guns? Do you think 28 people would be dead now? Probably a lot fewer.

Now that is gun control I'd be more comfortable with.

I know of no gun hobbyist that has committed these mass shootings. However, I do know that several mentally ill people have.

I suspect that many meaningless gun laws will be passed not because they will actually make a difference, but because they feel good to the anti-gun group. Perhaps their attention should be directed to mental illness.

Numerous fatal car accidents go unreported by the media everyday. Many because of DUI. Perhaps we should also take all of the cars off of the streets as well.

The President has been seeking to instate NATO's international gun ban for American citizens since last year, which is in direct violation to our 2nd ammendment and bill of rights. NATO laws are not superior to our constitution, and I for one do not need the government telling me what to do and how to live every inch of my life. The government is supposed to represent us, not rule us.

Gun Sports
Laws which make concealed carry of firearms illegal are already an infringement of the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution.(As are any laws which restrict firearm ownership).

Anyone who can legally own a gun can already open carry the firearm UNconcealed with no training or license whatsoever.

Making an argument comparing licensing concealed carry to driver's licenses is ridiculous. The percentage of people killed by LICENSED motor vehicle drivers so far exceeds the percentage of people harmed by firearms, whether the owner has a concealed carry permit or not, as to make even the suggestion of similarity ludicrous.

Owning a gun, and the associated sports involved, are among the safest activities in the United States.

The following from the United Sportsmen of Florida:

"When comparing the number of firearm accidents to other accidents, 57 times more Americans die in motor vehicle accidents, 30 times more die from poisoning, 25 times more die from falls, 7 times more die from choking and suffocation, 5 times more from drowning, 4 times more from fires, and 3 times more from medical "misadventures" and environmental factors respectively."

Citing information from the National Safety Council's Injury Facts 2008 Edition, as well as the International Hunter Education Association, the fact sheet reveals that only 2 people per 100,000 are injured while enjoying the sport of hunting, compared to 2,585 who are injured while playing football, 1,984 basketball players, 1,349 bicycle riders, 1,332 soccer players, 1,296 skateboarders and 1,122 baseball players (all per 100,000).

More people go hunting each year (14,600,000) than play soccer (14,000,000), and yet the numbers prove that hunting is overwhelmingly more safe than soccer in terms of injuries sustained by participants. In fact, of the 23 sports examined, including everything from billiards to cheer leading, only hunting enjoyed injuries of less than ten per 100,000.(Injury numbers include only injuries treated in hospital emergency room facilities.)"

"Why I carry a GUN.....

My old grandpa said to me son,' there comes a time in every mans life when he stops bustin' knuckles and starts bustin' caps and usually it's when he becomes too old to take an ass whoopin'.

I don't carry a gun to kill people. I carry a gun to keep from being killed.

I don't carry a gun to scare people.

I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.

I don't carry a gun because I'm paranoid.

I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.

I don't carry a gun because I'm evil.

I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world.

I don't carry a gun because I hate the government.

I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.

I don't carry a gun because I'm angry.

I carry a gun so that I don't have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.

I don't carry a gun because I want to shoot someone.

I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.

I don't carry a gun because I'm a cowboy.

I carry a gun because, when I die and go to heaven, I want to be a cowboy.

I don't carry a gun to make me feel like a man.

I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.

I don't carry a gun because I feel inadequate.

I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.

I don't carry a gun because I love it.

I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.

Police Protection is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves.

Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take an ass whoopin'!!"

Joe Chit, we all know you have the freedom to express yourself and it is your right. Even though you and thousands like you, have spewed the venom, that under Obama, you are losing your rights.

First this isn't something you dreamed up. You know as well as everyone one this form, you copied this crap.

You should be ashamed of yourself, for the post on why you carry a gun.

The nation lost 20 little kids . You aren't going to protect anyone from violence. If anything you would run faster than you have in the last twenty years to hide, from a shooter that had an AR 15 assault rifle. Talk is cheap Joe. I bet you couldn't recite 1/10 of the Constitution, without a copy in front of you. No more than you could quote the first 12 chapters of the Bible.

What we need to do, rewrite the old Constitution. Write one to shut the damn radical Republicans up for another 250 years. Maybe an amendment, where we trade some Republicans for Cubans. When they disagree.

Make it illegal to own more than 3 different guns.

Do away with the Supreme Court.

Make it illegal for a Republican to run for office only every 30 years.

Should you be banned Joe from Warsaw Forum for a few days until you can come up with the reason, you may carry a gun, in your own writing, instead of an Internet Copy?

Whew Ms. Pale you have a way with words... I hope you don’t get this upset with me. I myself do not have a gun and I am frightened of them. But I have been thinking that these shootings that have occurred over the past few years have less to do with gun control as it does with our young folks being desensitized by the violence they see in the video games they play. I was just discussing this issue a few weeks back with a friend of mine about how it seems the violence in some of these games makes they players have less conscience and desensitizes them from the feelings of right and wrong in some cases not all. I decided to research this more but I wanted to share with you my thoughts on this and hopefully you can enlighten me with your wisdom. I can’t say why the young man shot those children except for that he was very mentally unstable and it is very sad. But I can say that using this tragedy as a way to get gun control is downright wrong too. Nope Ms Pale I can’t recite the constitution either but when I read it I do get the just of it. I Like knowing that we have the constitution to maintain order and prevent injustice. I don’t think we should just be up and changing the constitution because we want something to blame the ugliness of why someone would do such a thing on. The second amendment has nothing to do with the actions of that young man. I know folks thatlike to shoot their guns as a sport and who would not hurt a fly. I know folks who hunt cause they enjoy the sport and eating that icky deer meat too. I also know folks who have guns for their own protection.. I feel they should not have their rights taken away because of the acts of these mentally unstable folks. I just wanted to share my point of view on the matter. Oh and one more thing Ms. Pale I am one of those folks who feel I am losing my rights under Obama but I don’t spew venom... I speak my heart:) Good Evening and thanks for making me think once again:)
