So last night a guy starts a fire in his doublewide to destroy the evidence of his meth lab. So how safe does this make you feel? Here is someone who put the firemen and the police and all the responders to the fire in danger. Had this blown up it could have been your family member that was hurt or killed. AND, do you think the guy stopped to think about the fact that we are so below normal on rain that had the fire gotten a head start that it could have burnt acres of land and homes and possible killed people? As much as our first responders train do you really think that a fire that had a head start could be put out easily? It would require multiple fire departments to respond and let's face it, Gallatin County is pretty rural so that also involves hauling water to the fire. How long is the travel time for the surrounding fire departments? Wake up, drive to the equipment, drive to the fire. Figure minimun of 30 minutes repsonse time. That's a pretty good head start.

That's stupid.

The meth fire was only started because OF the War on Drugs. If the police weren't there looking to make a felony out of something that should be legal, then the man wouldn't have set his own house on fire. It wasn't a meth explosion. It was a man who lit his house on fire intentionally to get rid of the evidence... so we'll see if there was any evidence to begin with, since it was a "suspected meth dealer".

Regardless, had the police not gone around messing with folks, then this man and his house would still be standing.

Stop the Hate Gallatin County. Stop the War.

this is sad if the man wasnt doing something that was ILLEGAL he would have never had a problem and the cops didnt tell him to set fire to his house!

Look again. I did not say it was a meth explosion. I said he started the fire, to hide the meth lab. There is no way meth will be legal. IF they made it legal then it would be regulated and it would be illegal to make it and sell it yourself. Just like it is illegal to make and sell alcohol without permits and health inspections. The only hate war in the county is the drug addicts and the dealers who are ticked off because the law abiding citizens are tired the addicts breaking in, robbing and beating our senior citizens to steal their prescriptions and their money. According to the report he started the fire to get rid of lab and to distract the police so he could get away. I hope they catch him, bust him for arson as well as meth and fleeing a police officer as well as being stupid. The fact that you are constantly standing up for the dealers and addicts shows an absolute lack of respect for those of us who work hard to try to raise our families and keep them safe from the addicts and dealers. If you were around my kids and grandkids I would happy to turn your butt in too.

It's a shame that those who are parasites and leach off of society with their drug use, poor parenting and criminal behavior are making it hard on the rest of us to raise our families in a safe environment. We are paying to support the drug addicts and dealers in jail while we are supporting their families with welfare. I'm the first one to say that I will gladly escort a police officer to the home of a suspected drug dealer and if I see someone who is impaired behind the wheel I'll call on them too. And it doesn't matter if it's drugs or alcohol, if you're impaired then park the damn car and stay home.

I hope they bust everybody who is participating in the Red Meat murder rate. I have kids ya know! I don't want my kids around those Red Meat Eaters out there! That garbage is dangerous.

But it should be okay to beat your kids. And homosexuals. And blacks. And Mexicans. And wives. Don't bust a door down over violence. Bust a door down over Red Meat in these carnivore's refrigerators... how anybody can eat a living creature put on this planet by God, I'll never understand. But hey, Whatever. I'm Peanut. Out

I agree with countryboy! If there's anyway I can help catch one, I'm more than willing to. The fire that night could have been alot worse that what it was. Meth will never be legal, so if anyone is making or selling it, just know that the cops will one day find you, hopefully before you hurt anyone. If you want to do drugs thats your business but when you put other lives in danger, you should be stopped and locked away. Meth labs are very dangerous and can catch fire easily and when they due many fire dept and police officers not to mention their neighbors lives are put in harms way. And to Peanut from Louisville, do us all a favor and just stop talking, beat your kids and etc...???? Stick to the topic.

After they put all the Red Meatheads in the jail, then we'll go after the Sugar Eaters... you ever see one of these people? They look like they are jacked up on coffee... and there's another epidemic sweeping this community, coffee. And Prescription Pills... everybody on Social Security should be arrested and jailed. Let's really clean this town up! I mean who knows what my neighbors are doing in their house, but I'd like to find out. I'm going to be putting 24/7 Surveillaince up all around my house.

So Let's Review:

1. Clean Up Red Meathheads

2. Take Down Sugar Eaters

3. Coffee Drinkers Are Next

4. And Throw the Elderly In Jail

You all say Ronnie's logic is off... no, you're logic is off, and all you're doing is making King Meth (and we all know who that is) richer and richer, so good job. Go Violence! Go Bullyism!

also, don't tell me what to do.

@Firefighterswife, I am behind you 110%. I have posted the Ky State Police drug hotline number on the forums and encouraged people to call and turn in suspected drug dealers and meth labs all the time. I am tired of the people who support the drug dealers and run these meth labs. I will support the state police every step of the way to bust these fools before they kill one of my family members or my grandchildren get addicted. It's really sad to think that people who endorse violence towards others should be allowed to reproduce and spread their stupidity. I hope your husband stays safe when he's out on fire calls.

Thanks for posting the ksp number peanut but i know some of the police around here. All it takes is one phone call and well lets just say the meth head will be having a bad day. They are already running scared because the last one tried to burn his house down trying to cover it up lol.I would love to see the county start a community watch group. If they really want to make it hard on drugs around here start a cash reward program. If you turn someone in or tip them off about someone and they bust them and it is laget then they get a few dollars to pad there pocket with.I would say that if enough money was offered the county would be cleaned up quite fast.If the fear of getting caught and going to prison was high enough people would not want to have anything to do with drugs.

You know, Cincinnati has the tip line that pays and I think it would be a wonderful idea for GC. Let's face it, a lot of people know who is selling but they turn a blind eye to it right now. With the economy as tight as it is I think more people would be turning them in if they knew they could get cash for it. I'll bet the dealers would be turning each other in thinking it would improve their own sales! I've never had anything to do with any of the law enforcement officers so I honestly can't say anything bad about them. I only posted the state number because so many people seem to think nothing is done if they turn them in to the local boys. But I will say this, I've seen them watch people and make a case for weeks before they bust them. So it isn't a case of not busting them because they are family or friends. I am so tired of seeing people strung out on drugs and wasting their lives. And ruining their familie's lives.

Some of them from the bust on the 8/13 are still in jail. Others got out and got picked up again just two weeks later and are still in jail. They may have gotten out on bail but some are now looking at felony probation violation. Start keeping records on them and watch who is spending time at CCDC. While the dispostion of cases is not on line you can keep an eye on their hearings and on the CCDC site to see if they are still locked up. I'm all for locking them up and throwing away the key for repeat offenders. Give the courts a chance to do their job and keep watching the police. You'll see more and more arrests. And more time in jail.

This morning several of them were in court for hearings. Since the court site hasn't been updated yet and so far those in the CCDC are still listed as inmates I suspect they aren't happy with the outcome of their hearings. Can't find a scheduled hearing for Brandon right now. But you can be sure we're watching them and the courts.
