KSP Is Looking For Pot Crops

Sheriff Zemer Hammond found over 300 pot plants on some farmer's land, and didn't arrest the farmer, as reported in the News Herald, in Owen County.

The Sheriff said that many times other folks come onto a farmer's land and plants pot and therefore the only way to make an arrest is to catch a person actually tending to the plants. The KSP spotted the crop from their helicopters, since our militarized state police force, which supports cock fighting, is now occupying the State of Kentucky, we are living in a police state, and now they are watching us from up above. Be careful Gallatin County.

Marijuana can go for $3,000 per plant.

$3,000 per plant is what that farmer would have made if marijuana is legal, just like California is going to make all of that money from pot being smuggled into other states within the US. If Kentucky would elected Gatewood Galbraith, the Independent candidate Governor, or if Gallatin would elect Ronnie Smith, then you are guaranteed to not be in trouble for marijuana, which should be legalized.

Until that day, pot farmers will need to watch over their back for those damn helicopters.

if people haven't realized it yet is that the STATE OF KENTUCKY law says that it is illegal to possess or grow marijuana.why do people think that they can allow others to walk around with it or grow it? Run for state office and make the push up there.

so far Johnny Masters is the only one who has stepped up to that challenge and in my eys made a fair standing. next time with a little more campaigning and advertising he might just make it.

SPRINGFIELD, Ky.(AP)— Kentucky State Police say they have arrested two central Kentucky sheriff’s deputies on charges that include trafficking in marijuana.

A statement from state police on Friday says Washington County Sheriff’s Department deputies Wayne Bartley and Billy Mattingly also are charged with official misconduct, theft by unlawful taking, tampering with physical evidence, and criminal mischief.

The statement says both were lodged in the Marion County Detention Center, where Sgt. Tina Lee says they are being held on a $50,000 cash bond.

Lee said she had no information on whether the men had attorneys.

Jonathan Bradley Myers, who had been working for the Clark County Sheriff's Department since January 2003, was arrested on Monday after being indicted. He was charged with drug trafficking, official misconduct and a weapons-related charge.

Myers was fired by Sheriff Ray Caudill pending the outcome of the investigation. Caudill said he would consider rehiring Myers if the charges are dropped. No other deputies are under investigation, Caudill said.

Myers is the son of Clark County Judge-Executive John Myers, who is running for re-election in November.

In both of these cases the perps were DEPUTY SHERIFFS
Not the actual Sheriff, The sheriff has the duty to interpret the constitution and he has full authority on a case by case basis.
