"he making all look like dumb rednecks"

did you mean to say:

... all "of us"..., as in all "of us" smart rednecks?

Why won't you lay off of Ronnie? Are you worried about the competition? Ronnie will go out of his way to help anyone in need . I know he has helped me several times and it had nothing to do with the mary jane seeds or whatever they are. I just wanted to let people know that he is there to be of help. I don't know him personally but when I ask for advice on something that I didn't understand. he was suggested to me as the person to ask and I did but as a stranger to him he did everything he good to help me and I appreciated his help a lot.

ronnie may go out of his way to help someone in need but he also has some very strange ideas when it comes to what is legal and what isn't. He sort of lives in his own little world and it's not the same world that the rest of the community lives in or wants to live in. I'm betting that if we did a background check on people who support him in the election most of them would be felons. With drug convictions.

You can do a background check on me anyday of the week and you will find neither of what you said. If someone is nice to me I try to be nice back and look for the good in people instead of looking for fault all the time.

So you're saying you support ronnie as being a nice person. Do you support his position that drug use is victimless crime therefore not a crime? That anything you do that does not create a victim is not a crime? Because I don't. He can be the nicest guy in the world and I would still vote against his position on drugs and crime. He has said many times on the forums that raising marijuana, smoking it and trafficking in it is not a crime and he won't enforce or allow those laws to be enforced if he is elected sheriff. Since he doesn't believe pot use is a crime you won't have any recourse if your 16 or 17 year old is out smoking it. He says he will be the person to decide what laws are constitutional and whether they will be enforced in the county. I 100 % disagree with his right to decide what is going to be enforced and what isn't. So do you support his platform that he will be the ultimate authority in the county over and above the judges and the police?

No not at all, but I think all politicians are crooked or have certain people that can do anything they want and get away with it but another person may do the same thing and get thrown under the jail. I'm not supporting anyone for a elected position on this forum but I'm not going to bad mouth the candidates either. There are so many lies told on people during election time that its so hurtful to the families of all these candidates. thats all I was trying to say nicely. All of them are good in some ways but all have their faults as well but I look at the good in all of them and thats what I will comment on.

And all I'm saying is that the things he has personally said both on the forums and on his video tapes are not things I personally support. Since he is the one who tends to open these subjects for debate and that is what we are doing is debating the merits of what he says then I don't see any fault in discussing them. But, when he responds with arrogance then why should people not respond in frustration? If I think he is wrong I have the right to say so. I bet everyone who has family in the CCDC can say something good about them but that doesn't negate the fact that they committed a crime. If someone is a child molester do you want to know it or do you want to just hear the good things about them? Like yeah, they pay their rent on time, they don't have drunken parties? No one is trying to slander anyone on here. But I don't agree with the position he takes on several issues. He can be the nicest guy on the block but I dont' want him driving around the county if he's high.

OMG! All "be nice" is saying is to "be nice". Ronnie is a good man, and you are tearing him down because of the election, and he's the longshot! That's like the Harlam Globetrotters taking on Gallatin County Elementary Basketball team, and you shouting from the rooftops about how much you are for the Globetrotters and against the Underdog, like a mad woman, I mean, seriously, you should be nice, and at least give the Underdog a chance. Jesus.

How am I "tearing him down"? If I ask a question does that make me wrong? If I dont' agree with his position am I supposed to not say a word? It doesn't work that way. This has nothing to do with "tearing him down".

But before we go any further let's make it clear that there is another person on here who posts under Peanut. So what you read on here is not necessarily something I posted.

I have asked a lot of questions and I get answers that are either not on topic, demeaning or just nonsense. If Ronnie doesn't want to put the information out there then he doesn't have to answer. But if he is serious about the stuff he says then he should answer the questions without arrogance and nasty comments.

Peanut, if that is your real name.

I have answered every question put forth to me on this board.

The problem is you folks don't like or believe my answers and you come back with,"just because it is online doesn't mean it's true"

so get out there and do some research.

What are you so scared of?

When I win, if I can't do the things I say, then you should have no worries, I think you are worried because I can do what I say, and it blows holes in your perceived paridigm, and you cannot accept that your reality is not what you thought it was.

Stop the fbi/dea/cia/nsa/ksp and all the other laws comeing into gallatin county and make pot legal. You wont say it on here but i have read where you said you can not make pot legal.Ronnie i do not know if you think this is making you look cool to some people or big and bad or what.I think you have wasted your money on even intering the sheriffs race but it is your decision.I personal could care less what you do to your own body but with all the ranting and stuff you make yourself look silly.

I can as sheriff, in fact, stop the fbi/dea/cia/nsa/ksp from conducting investigations in the county, I can force them to come to the sheriff on a case by case basis! I have shown proof of this, can you show proof that I cannot?

I can't make pot legal, I never said I could!

Pot is already LEGAL, because the laws against it are in violation of the basic precepts of our constitutions. I will not allow any arrest in gallatin County for marijuana by any agency of the county state or federal agencies.

Pot is not legal. And you can't stop the other law enforcement agencies from coming into the county. Quit listening to Meade and some of the other lunatic people out there. And you haven't answered questions I've asked. Such as how does a person take your hemp oil if the THC level is 4-6 x higher than a joint without blowing their mind? Because if it is that intense it isn't harmless. There are just as many studies that show marijuana use leaves users with slower reaction times, longer times to process information. There isn't enough solid research to "prove" it is or isn't harmless. But I know people who have used it for years you now in their 50's have multiple physical problems including COPD, emphysema and neurologic disorders. The MD's can't say they were caused strictly by pot, but these people don't smoke cigarettes either. But the sheriff can't do what you think he can.
