letting the guilty off easy

There was a man who was sentenced in 2000 for rape, habitual at that. He was facing 50 years and ended up with only 8. Now he is walking around free to do as he pleases after only 7. Where is the justice in that, when in reality he had raped at least 8 women that the authorities knew of. Sad I say.

Best defense is to go on the offense. If you know he's a shitbag make sure he's registered and his neighbors know his history.
Find a church or someone else to watch your back. Make good friends with your neighbors too and be sure they're aware of the history and the current situation.
