Yes, it is news. Someone who is supposed to be helping uphold the law was involved in breaking it. Oh wait, maybe that's not news ... it seems to happen a lot lately.

Leave it to Kosciusko to have this happen. I am SOOOOOOOO glad I got away from there, the county that let's murderers and their fathers go free and drunk drivers back on the road time and time again.

Come to think of it.. his party affiliation was not reported, therefore he must be a Democrat.

Right on, brother! He should have driven home drunk, run the car into a creek, and let a girl drown while he fretted about how the whole thing would affect his career in congress.

Matthew T. Shively should lose his job immediately. How or why should the people of Kosciusko tolerate this behavior out of a Deputy Prosecutor? Is this what our future elected office has for us? So sad and discussing.

Come to think of it.. It's Kosciusko County. He's definitely a Republican. And it strikes me that something named a "Tap Room" would be called a bar rather than a restaurant, if it's not going to be called both.

I am very surprised a lawyer would become physically violent. When I had my character and fitness review by the Indiana Board of Law Examiners, the two things my reviewer repeatedly told me were: (1) don't abuse alcohol or drugs; and (2) never get into a physical altercation. This guy must not have been paying attention.
