All in the name of safety, or should I say revenue. Will they cut back on the number of officers in town?
The thing these don't always do is catch the cars going through an intersection while traffic begins to proceed from the new directions.
I'd like to see a study about how many accidents are done via "t-bone" as they so affectionately call it and see how or why they decided to spend $440,000 to put up a camera. How did they get the money for this? Did you vote for it, a referendum, a bond? Nope it just magically gets done and the public foots the bill.
When will society learn, we can't govern or rule everything.

if you havn't noticed, there are WAY more ppl not running through red lights or trying to make that yellow light drag on now. and you dont even live in warrenville? so youre obviously someone who just wants their nonsensical opinion heard. it's not replacing the work of a police officer, the cameras are just set up to make their jobs a little easier. next time keep your opinions to yourself.

the towns just want more money. and in return, they probably will let good police officers lose their job.

It has nothing to do with police work or job losses. It has everything to do with revenue and private company policing. The police force is set up to enforce laws, not private companies. Also, in a town like Warrenville, there is no need for photo enforced traffic lights; because, the incident of collisions in said intersections is so small, that the reasoning for the use of these cameras for safety is a farce. Therefore, the only other reason is revenue.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Virgo

It's okay to have high expectations, but try to keep in mind that no one can be all things to all people. As the Moon spends one last day in its current sign, it urges you to find a way to recognize others for their strengths, and forgive them their weaknesses. Virgoans' idiosyncrasies must look like strange quirks from the outside as well! Fate ties up the loose ends towards the end of the day.
