It sickens me to read about this precious little boy dying in an avoidable collison.
I was happy to read the driver of the truck-Rodney Aaron Martin who rear-ended the van was arrested on Monday and was charged with involuntary manslaughter.
My heart goes out to the family and friends of the child, his mother and his brother who was driving.

This is a sad and tragic occurance which happens way too often. Yes the driver derserves the most punishment that is allowed. Please remember to buckle up.I'm not saying that a seat belt would have saved this child. Just please at all times use seat belts.

Nobody bothered to touch on the face that the mother didnt have her son in a seat belt. I agree, the drunk driver should be punished for what he has done but I feel that the mother should be held accountable as well. Her son MAY have survived if she had been a responsible parent and buckled her kid in the seat belt. Just a thought

I dated this guy in highschool for a while and he would never do something this terrible. Yes he deserves his punishment sitting in jail but I know that he would do anything to bring that little boys back to life. He has to live with this everyday knowing he took a cute innocent childs life, I think that is the worst punishment of all. This will always sadden me that Aaron has to live with this quilt and that that little boys life ended way too soon. And yes seatbelts do save lives.

if this child was not wearing a seat belt, the mother should be charged with child neglect and more. The parent must care for the child.
