I agree "love warrenton" I too hope that people learn to enjoy what the town has needed for a while. I did however talk to a local law enforcement friend today and he mentioned that since L.R. opened they have given out more DUI's than all of last year. Sad stat! No matter who's fault. Hopefully with time, the patrons will help make it a good place to go hang with friends, watch the game and have fun. We will wait and see I guess.

Who cares if a few people don't like it, then just don't go. If the place is that good, there is no reason to worry about a few people on the internet talking crap about it. Quality and service speak louder than rumors. I live across the street from it and still haven't been yet, but I could really care less if some people don't like it, I'll still try it for myself before judging the place.

Yeah Kong sounds real ignorant Asian is not a racist term I know because I am one. It seems like the plce would do better without trash like you. I happen to know the Asian in question and he was always trying to get with the staff, thats what guys do. I heard his conduct was poor but I have no proof and we are still friends.

O Lil Mikey, wow U need to get your information straight. The original statement was about him hooking up with customers, learn to read. And Mikey the whole guys do that make it sound like your a "low life" too cause thats what you said on the other topic page too right? U heard his conduct was poor from some stupid girl who got fired from here. If any girl was put in a spot that made them feel uncomfortable or got them fired they could sue the company, everyone knows that. So why would anyone risk their company for some stupid girls. I asked this person u are talking about Mikey and he says he doesn't even know you. I am one of his best friends so I don't understand why you are talking crap about him and this business if you don't even know him.
As for the slowness of the bartenders I would love for the person who said this to tell me who is better in the area. I would gladly love to challenge anyone in the area to see who is the fastest bartender and who has the fastest bar staff. We can set up a little event and have some fun.
As for the bouncers hitting the patrons, the patrons can sue for this too. No one has even been hit by a bouncer hre. Lay off the Rumors. Why doesn't everyone post their real names or just come in and talk to us. I can even set up a little topix forum meeting here at the Locker Room and we can have a chat. I work here, come on in and have a good time or stay out.

After reading the comments on this forum, it seems like what I heard about The Locker Room might be true. I heard the place was a little "stuck up" to include staff and some patrons. Chris the Bartender's comments above seem to support that notion (sounds a bit arrogant)...Northern Virginia attitudes are not welcome in Warrenton. I think the place would do better in Fairfax or Tysons...

Let's start a poll - how long will The Locker Room Last???

Did they have to put the damn thing right next to a hotel?

I've been across the parking lot to visit and while I'm far from picky when it comes to bars, it's not the great. It's tacky and the booze sucks.

Are you all serious? This is ridiculous. This is not a tv show, this is Warrenton. We are not a bunch of 'billies' guzzling beers at any bar we can. This place is not loaded with idiots. We have a main highway passing right through our town, and in front of the Locker Room. Of course there will be DUI's. Not to mention, under the influence does not always mean the influence of alcohol... hello??? Anyway, people die, bars serve alcohol. You can't blame them if someone died, or even was killed. It's just a place.
The Locker Room is a cool place to go. We should not let it become some source of conflict just like the old pool hall, arcade, etc. Everything has it's battles when it's starting up. Just knock it off and talk about what you do and don't like about the place so they can get some suggestions. Most of you have probably not even been there, or are mad cause you aren't old enough to drink. Grow up and quit bashing. Geez.

classy - of high class, rank, or grade; stylish; admirably smart; elegant.

ghetto fabulous - Referring to the style of nouveau riche people who have grown up in ghetto or urban areas. The combination of bad taste,an urban aesthetic and desire to wear one's wealth. Basically, high priced but tacky

I know enough...I live in Warrenton. I would just like my w-2 form so I can file my taxes. Apparently The Locker Room has ignored the law that says w-2's have to be mailed out and post marked by Jan. 31. AND they don't answer their phone. Did they finally close their doors? That would be fine with me...they won't be missed, but they will have to answer to the federal government regardless.

Just to end all speculation on the incident at Comfort Inn and the "murder", I read in the Fauquier Democrat today---No one was burned alive. Get real.
Man's death ruled accidental
The body of a man found in a vehicle fire near the Comfort Inn in March has been identified.
to Maj. Paul Mercer of the Fauquier County Sheriff's office, the man was Steve Early, 21, of Culpeper.
Following a joint investigation by members of the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office and Fauquier Fire Marshal's Office, the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
However, the Medical Examiner's Office has ruled that Early's death was accidental, Mercer said.
