Are you serious? Why was this not in the papers?

Why hasnt all the D.U.I's been in the paper either, I heard they total past 70 and the place has only been open a few months. Someone must be keeping something quiet.

The death was at Comfort Inn two hours after the Locker Room closed. Get your facts straight dumbass. Big John how can a place get DUI's. Its stupid people that go out and drive. There are other bars in that area too so where you getting your facts from. Its dumb fucks like you that are causing all of these rumors to get started. Get a life and grow up.

I work for the county. There have been 6 DUI's for the whole county last month. None were none related to the Locker Room that I know of. Certain people in this county dont like outsiders. This may be the reason for the rumors. I've been there and had a great time. Big Jon - you may want to try it for yourself.

I think that everyone just needs to keep there opinions to themselves... or at least just go to the locker room - try it out - you wont be sorry - the place really is great... The time you are spending bashing the place you could be spending there having a good time!

Just to end all speculation on the incident at the Comfort Inn and the "murder", I read in the Fauquier Democrat today---No one was burned alive. Get real.

Man's death ruled accidental

The body of a man found in a vehicle fire near the Comfort Inn in March has been identified.

According to Maj. Paul Mercer of the Fauquier County Sheriff's office, the man was Steve Early, 21, of Culpeper.

Following a joint investigation by members of the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office and Fauquier Fire Marshal's Office, the cause of the fire remains undetermined.

However, the Medical Examiner's Office has ruled that Early's death was accidental, Mercer said.

"Early's death ruled accidental" and "Cause of fire undetermined" doesn't really make sense when speculation was the fire wasn't an accident. Now if they don't know the cause of the fire, how can they tell if it was an accident or not? The body may not have signs of abuse but that doesn't mean anything if he passed out in his car. I don't believe any of it. I think they're holding back information.

Princess, I think you're numbers are a bit off. There have been 7 DUI's by county sheriffs alone(NOT including STATE or TOWN cops) in the past WEEK, not neccesarily related to the Locker Room, even though one was apprehended on Comfort Inn drive. See here:
Weekly crime log for the county sheriff's department. 7 in the past days.

"Give me a break"... must be another local bar owner who has lost clients. Why spend so much time bashing the Locker Room?? I was talking last month, you are talking this week. Not apples to apples... Its not their fault Warrenton is a bunch of beer guzzling billies who will drink heavily at any bar. People need to be responsible for their own actions. You can hit 3 bars in one night and have 3 beers in each.... How does a bar know this?? Get a life.

Give me a break - You are truly an idiot. The fire was ruled accidental - thats the end of it - you are acting like you are on CSI or something. IT was not the Locker Room's fault that the man died in his car. You need to give it up because you are not going to win this battle. I agree with Princess - you care so much - you've gotta be either the owner or work for a bar that isn't doing so hot! Get on with your life buddy.

Sheesh, rumor mongering now thats a pretty weak sauce!!! Bidness must be bad across the street. Just to entertain the conspiracy theories; If, persay, there actually were 70 DUI's in one month since The Locker Room has been open, then thats just like saying that it's McDonalds' fault that people are morbidly obese from eating a Big Mac every day. People need to take responsibility for their own actions and stop expecting somebody - whether it's business or the government - to nanny them to death. It sounds like scapegoating to me. And I've been to The Locker Room, it's a very swanky place and honestly it brought a much needed touch of class to Warrenton. Unlike some bars I've been to they DON'T serve people who are so inebriated that they're lying on the floor nearly passed out. See ya at the The Locker Room ;)
Tired of the alcohol

All of these entries have been about the bar and the alcohol but you guys are forgetting about the food. It is a restaurant too. I read in the paper that the Locker Room is donating some of their food sales back to the victims of Va Tech. That's awesome! And my daughter participated in a fund raising event for her dance studio at the Locker Room a couple of weeks ago. It was such a success we're going to try to do it once a month. I've been there a few times and I love the food. My favorite so far is the tuna with the sweet potato fries. The gyros are really good too. I think they've add a prime rib to their menu on Sunday nights so I think I'm going to try that out next. If you're tired of the chain restaurants in town try the Locker Room.

I had a good time at the locker room but the crowd was real thuggish and the bartenders a little slow. I definately dont see it as being a classy place at all but its as fun as a normal redneck bar like Masters where the bouncers that work at the locker room used to hang out with us. The bouncers do a great job they really destroyed this guy who had to much to drink and was causing problems it was awesome to watch because there huge and slammed him all over the place ripping his clothes and causing him to bleed. As for the police I only seen two people in handcuffs in the parking lot but I didnt know why they were being arrested. Good time but I will stick to Masters only cause I know everyone there. I had a great time at the locker room and would go back.

I've been there a few times and yes, the place is very nice inside. But the patrons that frequent that place are not very nice. There has been a fight each time I've been there. You can't go there and enjoy your time, you can't hear, you can't sit and the food is not very good. The bar itself uses up too much valuable space. If you don't have a seat at the bar, you're gonna have a tough time getting a drink. The service staff unfortunately is not the brightest, but I guess that's okay to give up for the looks? That place will never attract a respectable crowd, meaning "long lasting". I've lived there a long time, and any bar that causes trouble gets run out of town. Just ask "Fat Tuesday's". They were run out of town by the "Town" by way of local authourities. Just wait and see.

More Rumors, great, this message board is just getting filled with more rumors about the establishment. You sound like a racist Anthony, talking about an Asian. Seems like you know this person personally and now are talking shit about him. Either enjoy the place or stop going there. Simple as that, sure the place doesnt need your Racist ass business there.

Local Patron I too have met the owners and think they are great guys. They brought a much need place to the town. It's unforunate that the people around here are not taking advantage of such a great venue. The owners have done their part in bring entertainment, and fun to our town. They have sceduled something for everynight from poker to comedians. The owners want respectable clientele, but as a new business I imagine it is difficult to turn away anyone. So I really hope that the people of warrenton give this place a chances. Let's make this place put Warrenton on the map.

Cant believe someone would compare this place to Masters... the Locker Room is classy, they shouldnt be penalized for Warrenton being full of the people you guys are talking about. They do have a dress code now and try and weed out the bad. Unfortunately there is something called discrimination that every business owner fears... It is a great place with more room than any other place in town. Give it a rest people. And as for the rumors??? What the hell would Warrenton be without rumors....
