Same-sex commitment announcement causes stir at small-town paper

It also says "Thou Shalt Not Kill"...but we read all the time how O.J. got away with it. "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery"...but we continued to let JFK and Clinton run our country. "Thou Shalt Not Steal"...but the rich rob the poor daily. Are there not more serious issues in the Burg that need to be addressed? What about single, homeless, mothers with babies we turn our backs on. Or all the domestic violence seen daily in the paper and the abuser's let go over and over to do it again. Let this issue rest already! Do I beleive in gay marriages...NO! I do believe there are much more serious issues in our community tho.

You being "Christian" has nothing to do with you hating homosexuality so stop using Jesus as an excuse to be such an ignorant assh*le. If the LGBT community is "forced" to view announcements of oppositte sex couples then you need to deal with seeing some from our side. You can't expect to have your cake, eat it too and not think anyone else deserves a piece.
