I was very excited and anxious to finally taste some authentic Mexican food. I went on a friday night about 8tish. As we pulled into the property, the 1st thing that i noticed was that the parking lot was dark. They Didnt have their lights on. Then they didnt have their lights around the building which can be a hazard. Then the Next thing i noticed was ALL the people waiting outside. and as i stepped in there was even more people waiting in the lobby where it is sooo small. As my Husband approched the stand to write our names there was no one there to take our name. as seconds passed by there was a line of people behind us waiting as well to write their names down. I absolutely thought that was bad service. When finally someone took our name. They started to abnoxiously scream out names. I didnt think of it as funny but rude. An Hour and a half pass by and still we were waiting. another half hour went by when we heard our name being yelled at. They sat us in the middle section diagonal from the kitchen. and on the side that i sat i could see the Kitchen. As i was looking through the menu and making my decision as to what to order i noticed ALOT of waiters and waitresses standing around doing absolutly nothing. our waitress fortunately i did not get her name Real nice. asked us for our drinks and went into the kitchen and came straight back out with them. BUT as she came out from the kitchen all the sudden there are whistling and cat callings towards the young lady. all she did was ignored it but i heard it and im pretty sure that other tables surrounding the kitchen did as well. THAT IS SEXUAL HARRASSMENT. Poor girl. i hope she doesnt have to put up with that everyday. She dropped of our drinks and asked us if we were ready and we politely declined and she told us she would give us more time. After 5 minutes came back and took our order. As we were waiting i saw the manager pacing back and forth the whole resturaunt picking up plates without asking if they were done. And yelling at the waiters ansd waitresses in public. THAT WAS RUDE AND LACK OF MANAGEMENT. as the night continued, our food arrived and they had messed up my husbands order. He had ordered something with a steak. The steak was not cooked right as to how my husband wanted it and it had to be taken back to the kitchen. My meal i had asked for no cheese and no Guacamole. and it was on my plate. They took it back and came back with my husbands order cooked right and my meal looked liked they had just scooped the cheese and Guacamole off my plate! How wrong. Usually resturaunts make a complete new plate. but i didnt see anything. So i brushed it off. As were eating the waitress constantly coming back to the table and asking us if we were okay. it was getting annoying!! constantly interrupting us. RUDE AGAIN. towards the end of the night i noticed the Manager sitting with female customers and flirting with them. and then moving onto another table with female customers.Flirting toching them, talking in a vulgar language. Lack of respect for customers. and then I NOTICED ANTS CRAWLING ON THE FLOOR. I Think they have a pests on their hands! gross! Music WAY TOO LOUD!! I couldnt think to myself. I saw waiters and waitresses drinking at work as well as managers. people see things and people talk. I am surprised that no one has filed a complaint. We finished our meals and headed out the door with still a lot of people waiting. As I walking out with my husband we were discussing the food and came to a conclusion that there is nothing different compared to Emilianos and el campesino or any other Mexican resturaunt. They all have that TEX-MEX taste. and their food looks nothing like the pictures on this website. I was very disappointed in the food and as for everything that i saw. After a couple hours me and my ghusband fell sick to our stomachs and had diarrehea for two days! and the only thing i could go back is the resturaunt. I will say this now. I will not be returning!

I just read a very mean and critical posting about the Patron Grill. I felt it was way too harsh, o.k. the lady didn't enjoy herself we get it!!! I actually ate at the Patron Grill with my family, and we loved it. There were no ants crawling on the floor, and it was very neat and clean. The lighting is dim, but that is to set a mood for your dining experience, lots of restaurants do that. As for the service, we went on a busy night and waited for maybe 15 minutes tops, another thing that is normal for a restaurant. The service was also good, efficient, yet not intruding. The waiter was there when we needed him and only when we needed him. As for the quality of the food, it is very good and tasty, very authentic. My family and I enjoyed it and we had no digestive issues with it at all. I too am a fan of Emilianos restaurant and I fell that the Patron Grill is just as good. I didn't like the comparison to Campesinos restaurant, I think that the Patron Grill is of way better quality than Campesinos. I feel that the woman's comments were harsh and she was trying to bias people against the Patron Grill. I say give it a try for yourself and make your own assessment about the restaurant. As for my family and I, we will continue to be customers of the Patron Grill, we think it is a nice addition to the community.

I have visited Patron a couple time for lunch with my work partners. I have had mixed experiences. I agree with Audry (earlier post) where she said that it was good authentic food. But I also had an experience like Tonya where it was dirty, loud, overly populated etc. You have to realize that these comments are of experiences and your personal experience only. So if you feel a comment was mean.. then that is the experience that he/she felt. I think that when they first opened they struggled a little like stated in the first post. And then by July came around with the second post they are getting better. BUT I do not agree that this is the best authentic mexican you can get. Maybe around here it is. But it is way off as far as authentic. This is coming from someone who lived in the south and has experienced the real deal. I would have to say Patron is close but Emilianos is closer. B- for me
