wen i lived in o.c. many years ago, a friend of mine and i would put in at the marina in o.c. and go up between the bridges. at that time , there was a hole where oil creek dumped in the river that was about 9 to 12 feet deep. we would use black mr. twister 1\8 to 1\4 oz. with an oversized body to keep it just off the bottom. we would cast into the shallows and let it drift into the hole. usually in about 3 hrs, we had our limit. that was more than 10 yrs ago. dont know how it is now? ppl say there is no trout in the river because of the pike and muskeys. i know for a fact that is crap. the largest trout i ever caught was in the river. i was fishing the hole across from the old k mart. i was throwing a 4 1/4 inch rapala into the edge of the fast current and worked the edge of that hole about 100 yards or so down. if i got nothing i went back and started over. 23 3/8 brown trout just about ripped the pole out of my hands. thought it was a walleye till i got it to the bank. it is now on my wall. i hate to say it, but the man that taught me how to do this was the same guy that shot carrie cornell's husband on bredinsburg road.(the guy that shot the state trooper, his wife, then himself). i never thought it from that man. he was a great teacher and a very experienced angler.

you are aware that even though the componants of the machine you use are legal the manner and degree you use it too is not only completely traceable but completely illegal doesnt matter if its from a fridge cell phone or radio. It has also been classified as attempted murder, terrorism and a hazard to public health and yes even the little ones you put in the toolbox on your trucks. Just want you to be aware so that you know that while you use it. Conditioning is not a legal trade.
