This one goes out to JJFADS.

Sometimes you just need to have that insider info if you want to be taken seriously as The Authority and premiere editor of the Autos forum.

JJ never had credibility, so he didn't destroy anything, but certainly this gaffe took the entire forum down a notch.

LORDSTOWN - Second shift workers at the General Motors Lordstown complex reported back to work within the last hour after being laid off for nearly a year.

``I'm excited. All I can say is `yay,''' said Theresa Miller of Cleveland, who has been laid off since last January.

Today marks the recall of nearly 1,000 hourly and 50 salaried workers to the Lordstown complex's second shift. This week, the workers begin at 1 p.m. for training and production on their regular shift 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. starts next week, said plant spokesman Tom Mock.

The callback has been anticipated for months due to higher demand of the Chevrolet Cobalt and preparation for the launch of Chevrolets new Cruze next April.

The production increase was part of GM's boost announced in August that will add 60,000 vehicles in the third and fourth quarters. The car manufacturer also will bring back laid-off workers in a Canadian plant, where two midsize crossover vehicles are produced.

Wait, what was that last paragraph again? Part of GM's announcement in August that it'll add 60K vehicles in the 3rd and 4th quarters?

You don't say!

We had a tornado here last night and major flooding.

At any rate, the post is from Oct. 5.(It’s old). I posted the same information on October 5 in the 60K increase of production thread. Since then, production has slowed at Lordstown and increased at CAMI. I know, I know, AN has noting on it. Call up Mr. Donahoe, he will confirm.

Remember when I told you I would mentor you along the way? I meant that.

No way to spin in JJ, Lordstown is cranking out product especially since GM announced the delays to the Cruze.

I've driven by the plant, and its at full tilt, just accept it.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Gemini

Grit your teeth as Mars turns retrograde, as things annoyingly don't go to plan. Certain people are going out of their way to be difficult. Is an older relative throwing the proverbial weight around and telling you what to do? The greater the gap between your ages or social status, the more irritated you'll be.
