As a shop owner in bound brook i will say the clean up time was faster because of the flood gates did there job and low income residents, did not get flooded as bad up the hill , but most of the stores on main st. its doesn't matter two feet or twelve feet deep water they lose everything and most of the small shops can't start over aftyer and water damage and clean up.
