-not liberal nor conservative
-not being leftist or otherwise
-smarter than you
-smarter than me
-smarter than the rest of judges
-smarter than we-the-people (smarter regarding US constitution).
I asked myself a question why human being is created, the answer is, I don't know. Why ?, Because I m not God. But I'm sure there must
be a reason why human being is created.
The same goes to your question. I don't know why supreme court is a life time job. I was not the one who created that particular rule.
But I do know one thing, There must be a reason why that kind of rule was created!
If there are 2 person fighting each other about something then we need the third person to be the judge. Isn't that what the justice system all about? I Know, it makes you thing more further, right?
As for eminent domain, my general point of view is, if it is for a greater good, then why not.
I am sure US is not a revolutionary governments. I'm sure they offer to purchase the property before resorting to the use of eminent domain. I m sure there is a good reason why they use eminent domain.

Exercise this. Go to Europe, say France, Germany, Italy, or even try Russia. Tell them you aren't going to learn their language and DEMAND that they offer you services in YOUR language and see what happens. I don't see where it's too much for someone else coming from another country to learn the language of the country they are going to. My grandparents had to do that when they came here. My grandmother was actually born here, first generation that is. Her family spoke Polish and that's what she learned. She spoke English with a heavy accent. My grandfather fled Germany at the end of WWI not long before Hitler gained power. He was forced to learn English also. Neither of them spoke their native tongues in the home so their children would speak ENGLISH without the heavy accent they had. I actually took the time to take German in high school (then an elective, not a mandatory thing to take a foreign language) so I could converse with my grandfather and his sisters. His one sister reverted BACK to speaking only german before she died. She use to mix German and English together when she would speak and other family members looked to me to translate. My greataunt was actually astounded that I took the time to learn her language! Back then, there was a demand you speak English. Now there is the demand that the English speaking learn everything else because "we don't want them to suffer". Oh how much changes in a couple generations.

I really hope the government doesn't decide to seize your property for a parking lot or a shopping center and delare it "for the greater good". Look up New London, CT and see what they did there.

Oh, and the supreme court judges are nominated by the sitting president, approved through congress. If you think they aren't on the sitting president's side of the politcal spectrum, you are sadly mistaken. A Democrat president is going to support a Demorcrat judge, just as a Republican president is going to support a republican judge.

Your clueless. God also says to follow man's law and one of his 10 commandments states thou shalt not covet your neighbor's house. Our country is our house and those illegals are coveting it.

Every country has borders and laws, including immigration laws. They must be followed. Without laws we'd have nothing but mayhem. We cannot pick and choose which laws to follow and which to ignore.

If someone wants a better life in another country then it is a requirement that they follow that country's immigration laws and apply to come legally. This country has some of the least restrictive immigration laws of any other country. Further, we accept more legal immigrants each year than all other countries combined.

No one has the right to come here illegally.

Are you like 12, or just mentally challenged?

You read the story about the dishwasher who had $50k cash, saved over something like 6 or 7 years - he'd been here 10 -- and got caught with it in a suitcase, trying to smuggle it out of the country? He saved this while also sending money back home on a regular basis.

Now,*I* make way more than a dishwasher, and there is no way *I* could pay my bills, send money "home" (if I had relatives elsewhere),*and* still save $50k cash in 6 or 7 years. Hell, I couldn't do it in 10 years.

These people are criminals, working when not authorized, committing felonies by using other people's social security numbers, working cash under the table, etc.

They need to go!

If you love them so much, by all means, take a few in and support them -- and make yourself responsible for any and all crimes they commit. Put your money where your mouth is.

Illegal aliens are a cancer to this country. They are vermin that need to be removed, not assimilated. Illegals bring disease (that goes unchecked by the legal process of immigration) and crime ( criminal records of illegals also go unchecked by the legal immigration process.) Illegal aliens only bring the worst of the worst of foreigners to this country. Americans need to protect themselves and declare "open season" on illegal aliens. Confiscate any money they have and deport them without a hearing (other than to establish if they are citizens or not.) Illegals are not protected under our Constitution and don't deserve our rights. Send an example to others that it doesn't pay to invade the USA. Protect your place as a citizen in america before it is too late.
