I have a qusetion for Cerberus about the up comming layoffs at Chrysler. It is said, that 23,000 workers will loose their jobs in the next 4 years. Will Cerberus let go the workers who have less than 10 years in the company. Those people would not be vested in the company and would in the long run, save Cerberus from having to pay for their retirement. The older workers are going to be retire within the next 5 to 10 years anyway. Cerberus could hire new workers at the lower wage and save even more money. So get rid of the younger workers wait for the older ones to retire and have a new workforce making less money, saving the company more money.
