Crime will be punished, violent crime harshly. 23 is old enough to know that, being convicted should have better defined it for him, yet he still resorted to violence trice over and was a danger to others even in lockup.

My sympathy is weak except for wondering why otherwise intelligent people end up with twisted rational and priorities. What is lacking that allows impulse to over ride intellect? That benefit of doubt is all the sympathy I have for this wasted life. Frankly, he did society a favor by prolonging the sentence of his original offense.

Seems some folks truely are born for prison.

You want to know what was missing? Faith. Morals. A believe of something greater than oneself.

I say pop his top and see if there is a reason for his actions. I know you flesh eaters will stomp around with his body parts on a stick while proclaiming you being a Christian Intelligent being but maybe he can teach us something. Then again looking at politics that would be a "no" too. Carry on!

Strange, sad life? Sounds like a common criminal to me.

Good post, I couldn't have said it better myself.
The only sympathy I have is for his family. They probably wonder where they went wrong and will guilt themselves until the end of days. Very sad life indeed.
