The entire park area was recently evacuated, due to two weeks of seismic tremors. The Caldera is the size of Los Angeles and has been filling with magma. The above URL article details how the eruption will cause earthquakes across the U.S.A. and clouds of particles will obscure the sun, causing crop failures. This will be a "worldwide event." Prepare.

I have read some about his volcano. Who knows when it will blow, but when it does, the destruction will be great. Most likely the end of civizilation as we know it. I believe this is more of a threat than global warming.

I live in Cheyenne and there isn't anywhere you can move to in order to avoid death from this volcano going off. Depending on the winds at the time of eruption, heavy amounts of ash will decend upon at least half the country, buy masks to protect the eyes, ears and face, stay inside as much as possible, and keep your roof cleared off. THe majority of loss of life initially will be from the weight of the ash caving in roofs so keep yours cleared off as much as possible. After that, it'll be about having food and fresh water. The last eruption blanketed the sky for years, blocking out the sun, so maybe an indoor garden for some fresh fruit or veggies would be a wise investment as well.

According to the National Park Service, the volcano is not about to erupt, and there would be signs to warn us that an eruption is immenant. At the moment, it appears as though the volcano is not going to erupt, and our local news would be issuing alerts if it was due to erupt.
