the ranch is horrible, they treat their employees like crap, little pay, and no benefits, I believe its a cult ( most of the people who work there, mostly supervisors) and if you don't "join" the cult, then they treat you really bad

That's not true. It's not a cult and they don't treat people badly. It shouldn't be about the money either. It should be becuase you want to help kids. Trinity is a great place to be.

Well when u are helping the kids, that's good, and yea what they have to put up with, and they take the word of the kids who have been committed of crimes, over the staff, then it is ridiculous, so ya the pay sucks for what u have to put up with, they have rules, but they dont apply to everybody,so unless u are on the main showboat ya it sucks

It's funny how u (work is sucktastic) only don't like the place from hearsay. Maybe you should go see for yourself.....God has his hands on this place and all of the employees and residents are well taken care of. Funny how a resident (Jesus Thug) is taking up for a place that he/she lived at....meaning that the staff can leave at the end of their shift and the resident has to stay no matter what. hmmph and Jesus Thug still liked it...where is your heart?

OKay like i said before i DO LIKE WHAT THEY DO FOR THE KIDS, and I KNOW IT DOES HELP THEM, when somebody in ur family gets treated badly when they work there all the time by the supervisors that are supposed to be an even better example, it kinda makes the impression that all they care about is the money,
most of the kids get turned around and do good, but some kids try to stab the staff with a pencil and in the process of blocking and swooping the kid he gets his shoulder popped out of socket or a broken collar bone, then the kid lies and says that the staff either struck him or what ever, b/c they can only swoop and transport right? they take the kids word over the staff, the staff who had to have a a lot of background checks, and got cleared, then the kids who has a record, of assault, arson, robbery, etc that is what is messed up about it, it has gotten worse since mr seoul died, oh and how do u know i may be an investigator lol

Yall are all messed up ok. I was there for three and a half years as a resident. Yes i had and still do have my share of problems and yah i have a record a long one to boot ok. But in the end The ranch is a good and a bad place all in one. First just cause the kids have a record doesnt mean there lyers. You get good and bad staff there alike. Most of them do try to help the kids like flanders and his brother alonzo. Then you get some that have real issues of their own that dont come out till the stress that they have to deal with there gets to them. They snap sometimes. And most of the kids there are trying to better themselves they just take awhile to come around and understand how cause most of em just like menever had that in there life. So in ending dont just dismiss it or love it without actually stoping and thinking about everything all at once. For people wanting to send there kids there go see it for yourself do the research yourself. Dont rely on others that have been there cause there gonna be bias some way or another.

PEACE,METAL

i went to the Lord's Ranch personally.. they helped me a lot.. i couldn't be where i am today.. if it were not for the help of them. it is a fantastic. they were always good to me.. sometime it could be bad but the kids made it that way.. i was there for over a year.. and i was no angel.. but once again if not for the counselors and teachers i wouldn't be here today... and i owe them everything..

I was at the Ranch for 2 1/2 years from '92 to '95 and I can say that if it wasn't for Alonza,Philander, Teddy, Bud, Shirley and several other staff members, I would not be alive today to talk about it! The staff are there because they care and want us to have a chance at life that alot of kids will never get a chance at! They don't get paid enough for it to be about the money and they put up with alot of crap from the residents because I know they didn't get paid enough for what I myself put them through! Most of the kids act out because they never had an established set of rules or someone to discipline them or just someone there to tell them NO when they can't get their way so they look at the staff as a threat to them getting their way!!! It says alot about someone's character who would work under those circumstances for a little bit of money but the money is not the reward!!! The reward is the feeling of knowing that they just might have made the difference in just one kid's life because the Lord knows they made a difference in mine! If they are in it for the money than it's the wrong business because IT IS A BUSINESS OF SAVING LIVES, OUR CHILDREN'S LIVES!!! YOU WILL ONLY GET OUT OF THE RANCH AS MUCH AS YOU PUT IN SO LET GO OF THE HATRID AND OPEN YOUR EARS AND YOUR HEARTS AND LET GOD IN! HE WILL HELP YOU CHANGE BUT ONLY IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE! BUD DEDICATED HIS LIFE TO HELPING OTHERS SO IT'S TIME TO HELP YOURSELVES!
