How on earth could they allow Al Donovan to head this Investigation. He cannot even keep his own department in line. Not only that but he covered up his brother in law's rape of a family member! THIS IS UNREAL!!!!

This is why effectively run police departments do monthly random item audits of their evidence lockers and a 100% audit every time the primary custodian changes. Their inability to find this item is disgusting - but I am more concerned about what else is missing? More drugs? Guns? Money? Jewelry? Big screen TV's?

Gee, when the retired lieutenant was asking innocent people to take a lie detector test I bet he had a different attitude toward the test than he does now that he is on he "taking" end! Totally disgusting!!

Smoking the reefer, telling lies...Clean it up!! Strap on the gear and answer the questions truthfully, like men. Don't be afraid to use your own equipment that you use to determine guilt in other police cases involving members of the public. This is BULL!!!

How come they never tell who they initially seized the drugs off of?
How come its always the Dracut cops they question?
If someone on the street lost that much drugs, wouldnt they eventually have to pay back whoever they got the drugs from. Thus, why not try to steal back the drugs they lost from the cops seizing.
Unless Dracut knows something else?

If I were the Dracut Police I wouldn't take a lie detector test. Think about the real world of jobs. Would you be subjected to a lie detector test if something went wrong in your office or buisness. I don't believe so. Just because the cops we hold them to a different standard and try to open them up to crazy ideas of testing. I guess we should give them a lie detector every time someone gets arrested to make sure they're telling the truth. At what point to do we put our trust in them and let them do their jobs without all the scrutiny. I know all cops aren't squeaky clean but you shouldn't have to constantly have to prove your not thru the public. It seems like some of you may have been on the other side of the law and are now pissed that you got arrested.

um they stole or let someone steal $80k worth of weed, they should have been detained on the spot years ago you moron. they get away with far too much as it is its time internal investigations starts looking into these so called officers of the law. corruption is very bad around here and should not be tolerated.

Like any police department, they have the publics trust until they abuse it.
Abuse it and lose it, pal.
Crooked cops are everywhere, and this Dracut guy sounds like a class "A" LO-SAH!

I don't know what happens in Turner Falls wherever the hell that is, but they have looked into it. They are still looking into it as we speak. My point is that you shouldn't have to be subjected to a polygraph every time the public thinks they deserve one. There is no proof that a police officer was involved at all so let's skip the burden of proof and go right to a polygraph every time. It's ridiculous. It also sets precedent for future problems if any should occur.
