To Mike...The Caneisto pit is actually a series of pits that had different operators at different times. The mine pits were dug over 30 years ago with some of it over 70 years ago. The companies are no longer in business and this was done before the bonds for reclamation of a closure were required.

when considering the population in Bovey a nice flush might clear up the smell. But in their case we're probabaly going to need a big plunger.

There's going to be some very valuable property on the shores of lake Bovey in a couple years.

I noticed there are some very astute comments coming from outside of Bovey. Anything that's flushed from the north is going to end up in the Twin Cities.
